i got 5 1mlg circle tablets of lorazepam, some weed, and about eight 10mlg hydrocodone.

I have heared lorazepam deosnt really make you high? idk what to do with these =/

Well it is an anxiolytic and anti-seizure medication. It helps with anxiety and can be quite sedating for a first time user. but imo, benzos in general do really produce a "high" or euphoria. Mainly just sedation and they also can throw your inhibitions out the window. The only benzo I consider euphoric is diazepam.

But there is a strange phenomenon with lorazepam. It can make certain people trip hard for some weird reason. but it is rare.

if you enjoy alcohol, benzos are rather like that but more clear-headed at equivalent dose and with more muscle relaxing and anxiolytic properties

u wont trip like lsd or schrooms but youll get like a good relaxed no inhibition type of high. If you have ever done valium very similar. If you have no tolerance 5mgs of lorazepam should get you pretty jammed. However people say not to mix opiates and benzos (at high doses anyway). Im not condoning mixing but i ahve mixed hydrocodone and benzos at the same time with good results. Just dont over do it if you have no tolerance to either.

No matter what smoking always makes everything better! For me anyways!

My psych doctor used to give me lots of ativan. But cut me off when he
prescribed suboxone, said it was dangerous. Now I have no insurance
and can't afford to see him anymore. I depend completely on my pain
mgmt doctor for everything and he's reluctant to give me any type of
benzos. Needless to say, it's 5 am and I cannot fucking sleep! :(

Lorazepam will potentiate other downers and opiates. It may kill psychs (LSD, shrooms...), but certainly not downers. Be careful though combining both.

ya lorazepam kicked my ass once i took 5.5mg i was sitting trying to read when i got this insane head rush ,i couldnt even read the comp just trying to, made me gag went to the washroom and puuukkkkeedd it was so vile, dont mix it with hydrocodone unless low dose are invovled just my .02

^^ yeah, i was allready on 40mg valium+4mg lormetazepam when i told them i had a morphine/heroin habit, they were reluctant to give me subs or 'done and lowered my benzos...

Why did you say that? Just curious if you felt like it was the right thing to do or did you regret it? I would have thought they would want to give subs to make your highs go away.

I'm one of those lucky people that trip off of lorazepam and ambien. i get a complete out of body experience, everything is amazingly soft, mirrors will be fascinating on 5mg. my boy found 2 full 90 tab prescription bottles of Ativan(lorazepam) and had us tripppiiiin and starin into a mirror for a couple hours which seemed like minuets. Just be careful because you will want more, and you might have a pretty bad hangover the next day if its your fist time with benzo's. Enjoy my friend(;

Oh please Alprazolam... I don't want to get into some sort of cat-fight over this but I don't see how you think lorazepam will make you trip. If you've ever done psychedelic drugs you have to at least understand my argument, although you might not agree with it. I believe most of the people on these boards would describe "tripping" as a psychedelic experience of fair to high intensity.

Someone back me up on this please. "So drunk that he was seeing pink elephants" need I say more. The way you define "tripping" is just backward my friend. Getting so fucked up that you lose touch with reality like you would on alcohol or a large dose of a benzo, or any other drug for that matter is possible, but is it psychedelic? No sir...And I believe in the context of the original question, I am correct, Lorazepam will not produce anything near a psychedelic nor dissociative experience or anything of that kind. I'm really interested in your rebuttal (not being a douche), I honestly want to know how you perceive the effects of this drug, because your ideas are obviously polar opposite to mine.

The reason why i say Lorazepam makes me trip is because for me i did trip i'm not joking i was in a different dimension when i looked into a mirror, when i was sitting outside of my 2 story window my entire house seemed like it was rocking back and forth like i was on a boat, i saw creatures fly around in the night sky that weren't actually there etc. i can see where your coming from saying things like "so drunk he was seeing pink elephants" but lorazepam in my experience isn't like any other benzo where i feel a wreckless drunk its more of a tripping experience

benzodiazepines have some numbing/possibly dissociative? effects

maybe lorazepam shares some characteristic similar to zolpidem? (the Z drugs and benzos effect GABA-A receptor)

The first time I used lorazepam, I noticed effects that I never got with other benzos. And I don't use benzos often, but I could tell a difference. It's hard to describe. I almost felt detached. Not like a dissociative detached, but a pleasant one. Yeah, I think dissociatives are unpleasant. I tried DXM once and hated it. Laid in bed and felt like I was literally dead and non-existent in the world for 10 hours.

^ sounds like my experience with DXM, followed by a hangover and walking around stupidly.

Lorazapam gave me a killer headache and hangover but did take away my anxiety. It seems like I was still judgmental on my actions, but I didn't care at that point, too bad about the headache, otherwise I would use it more often.

I never tripped on it though OP.
