I actually cannot smoke from bongs anymore because of this, after my excessive use with LSD,Mushrooms and DMT.. i will trip far to hard experiencing visuals, immense anxiety and paranoia whilst my mind goes from been stoned into a more psychedelic state. I was never a huge weed smoker, so im sure i can attribute that to it as-well.
About 1 year ago during my peak use of LSD, i remember this because it hasn't happened to the same degree since.. and it was so unexpected. I was at a friend's place and we smoked some leafy weed through a bong, within 5 minutes i felt my mind fall into that familiar psychedelic state and paranoia quickly developed as i listened too my friends.
I knew i needed to get away at this point, so i left.. as i was walking back home i remember looking at the pavement and watching the the gravel stones re-arrange into multi-colored letters of the alphabet, the leafs of the tree's looked like emerald jewels in the street-light and my depth perception was way off. I got home and no longer felt stoned, but very stimulated and aware.
It was enjoyable, but man.. when your not expecting to trip, and are suddenly catapulted into that state of mind, it can be pretty full-on.. especially if your in an odd environment.

^ I think that last line explains why a lot of people have difficult experiences from intense cannabis intoxication. In my experience it isn't overly common for buds to make people hallucinate and/or enter a psychedelic sorta mind state but it does happen, I think the main reason it is often a difficult experience is that set and setting are rarely accounted for. Weed's tendency to make you paranoid also factors in to it.
On the whole I would say the vast majority of people will never experience hallucinations from weed, and when people hallucinate it's not due to it being laced or a special strain, it's just a sensitivity to cannabanoids and/or cannabis that is considerably stronger than they are used to.

While I have never experienced anything quite that psychedelic from weed alone I know sometimes when I have been really stoned I have felt like I've been bordering on tripping. Also as was mentioned earlier my weed highs are definitely slightly different now that I have used other psychs a few times. I often get mild CEVs and also sometimes flickering patterns etc. as OEVs.

I've definitely had visuals on bud, but they were way different to those I've had on acid. Though this experience was when I was young and had a low tolerance.
Basically I had a blunt and smoked it as fast as I could in really big drags. Then when it all kicked in I got like frame by frame vision, similar to what a strobe light does to a room, this was accompanied by intense tingling all over my body.

Ive had really intense hallucinations/complete mindfuck when I've smoked after overindugling on the speed or pingers. The two times this happened was after taking 4 pingers and the other time 7 low dose mdma/meth. Worse then a high dose of 2cb. Havnt tried lsd so cant compare it but it was a fucking scary experience.

Hey guys, just a quick question on the topic of weed...
Obtained a quarter the other day and am wondering if I may have received outdoor-grown bud, instead of the hydro bud I normally buy.
The differences I've noticed are:
1) That the buds are far lighter than usual, and kind of wispy
2) The buds have tiny green leaves dispersed throughout, but each bud is dominated by this brownish thread-like material that just falls away when holding one on my hand
The dimensions are 1.5in long x .6ish wide.
I can't get a picture up at present, but thought someone might know if what I've described is actually bush weed grown naturally. Or simply the traits of a particular strain...
Smoked a little of it last night to try it out and it really didn't get me baked. I could tell it was having an effect, but my head was still straight, and I guess I just felt a moderate body stone. Slept fine, slight hangover the morning after.

^You can't always tell organicly grown (bush) and Hydroponically grown marijuana. Infact most of it is down to the strain. I've seen plenty of Hydroponically grown marijuana that is light and fluffy and plenty of Organicly grown that was tight and dense. Strain matters a lot more than growing conditions, it's just that commercial/hydroponic growers in the larger cities tend to lean towards straing that produce more compact buds for better "bag appeal" and therefore a higher price.

I would have to disagree and say the lighting and nutrients used for growing are the two main factors in producing big dense buds. The major reason commercial is so dense and heavy is because of these two things. There used for profit, hence thats what "commercial growing" is. The commy growers, most as I see it dont know what strain there growing. Has your dealer ever told you the what kind of bud he's getting? I know the times ive asked around noone ever has a clue what type of weed were getting, unless I grow it myself or another mate grows.
When your growing indoors the lighting is constant, and the end product under decent lighting will nearly always be denser then any outdoor bud(in my experience). Outdoors the sun isnt as constant, and this is why you get fluffyer/leafyer/less compact buds outdoors.
Also, another main thing that splits indoor commercial to outdoor commercial is the "steroid" like nutrients used in hydroponics, known as Rock Bud and Super Bud which stop the plants stretching in flowering, and puts an extreme ammount of weight into the buds making them very dense, but at the same time making the smoke weaker, taste weaker and smell weaker. You can use these products outdoors, but not nearly to the same effect. This is why indoor weed is more compact and dense, along with high ammounts of lighting.
Through out Australia nearly all commercial indoor will be grown using these steroid like nutrients(Australia is the only place that has it legal, UK and US have banned it). Once you grow your own outdoor or indoor in soil with the organic products you can easily distinguish the buds that were using steroids and the ones that were not.

^the trick is to get into a connoisseur circle rather than a commercial one. Find a decent indoor organic grower.
