YES!!! That was the first thing my mates and I said to each other when we got out of the cinema -- "did that film make you think of a K hole?". Glad to see we're not strange.

I've got no idea how you'd follow what the fuck was going on if you were on ket seeing it for the first time like. I do like the idea of watching it again while on ket though, but I think it'd be better to wait for downloaded version in the safety of my own home rather than going out in public...

Watched the new 'The Karate Kid' last night.

Even though they're doing kung-fu and not karate the film was still reasonably watchable. Nothing compared to the original
 
Well I saw Inception today and it did NOT dissapoint. Absolute genius, so well scripted and written, top acting, great story, intense, intelligent, some great ideas and themes, a total head fuck and overall a top film. It's gonna go down as a classic and dare I say it.....one of the best films of all time.

Forget 3D films, Inception took film making to a whole new level.

Watched Ghost Writer the other nite. Thought it was quite good, comes together nicely at the end.
 
Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries. Moving and dreamlike quality make it one of the greatest films ever made.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Seen it & really quite enjoyed it. Heard rumours that hollywood are sniffing around & will no doubt fuck it up completely. I saw the dubbed version & amazingly it never took away anything like it normally would. Quite well done.

I'll take it down for you next week Kate :D

Watched Green Zone last night -- not bad, got a bit more to it than the usual war/action theme and worth a watch if you're bored. Just downloaded The Ghost (Writer) to watch tonight, looks pretty good and I'm sure I remember reading the book at some point.

I avoided this one for a while, thinking it was some vapid Guy Ritchie type of affair. Luckily it's so much better than that. Tom Hardy is great in the lead role, it does a great balancing act being violence & dark humour. It's really strange in some ways, & it looks great. Definitely recommended.
