Vent/Rant Thread 1 (POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING)

my boyfriend is from an upper class suburb of Orlando, so whenever we go there we always see moms like that. they are always new moms whose kids are in elementary school. if we drive down the road going 30 mph instead of 25, they freak out and start signaling us to slow down. they are disgusted by anyone who smokes a cigarette around their precious baby, and by around I mean you can be half a mile away and they will give you dirty looks or a lecture. one time at disneyworld, my boyfriend and I went to a hidden spot to smoke a cigarette, and this 40 year old women sees us and comes screaming at us like a banchee, telling us she is calling security and having us thrown out. we werent even near anyone. I told her that she was a senile old lady and shouldn't have been let out of the home.

Lol I can see how that would be annoying. People like that need to learn to mind their own fucking business. That is unheard of around where I live (the ghetto pretty much).

I've tried SO hard today to try to keep the peace. Keep this a decent place. Show understanding and compassion to everyone. Keep the socials going. It isn't my job. I just do it cause I care about people and I want this site to do well, for everyone. And all I get in return it put downs! I'm tired of it. It HURTS me. Not that you care. Kick the puppy, who gives a fuck!
 
I'm not sure who's been putting you down PT but please try to ignore whatever they've said. Your help has been noticed and very much appreciated lately, so try to focus on that instead of meaningless put-downs from people who you've never even met.
I know it's easier said than done, but the negative stuff people say isn't worth worrying about okay? You're better than that <3
 
I try. I just don't understand why people hate, or why they get confused when I get mad.
Tony got very confused when I got angry and then started crying (things are a bit difficult lately). I hurt even more that those around, would rather laugh and encourage it than say something about it. It upset me enough that Tony actually signed in and went looking for the post... But I'll let it be.

bigbrown that sounds like a priapism which is a medical emergency. Go see a Doctor or get to an ER now. Call an emergency department if you aren't ready to take me seriously on this.Priapism can lead to needing surgery and even impotence if left untreated.

Doctors prescribe medication such as stimulants (amphetamine & methylphenidate) WAY TOO LIBERALLY. They prescribe sedatives too easily (Benzodiazapines such as Valium, Klonopin, Xanax) WAY TO LIBERALLY AND COMPLETELY FORGET IT ONLY WORKS FOR SEVERAL WEEKS.

if i had not been prescribed these medications, I would not be an addict. I "cop" from fucking CVS.

The doctor literally has told me that tapering off of benzos is easy even after a few years, and seizures are very rare.

Too bad I was 4 years in and was now knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals due to private research, and my major in college.

i love the misconception that doctors are superhuman, and all knowing; it actually does make us feel much better under their care. But, theyr're not. I took the pills myself, but I would honestly never have had them otherwise.

I only believed Doctors were Superhuman as a child wen I was in for surgery.

Now you see the facts. The people are overworked and have often 1000s of cases.

Even after 7 or 8 years of hard study then somemore clinical practice.

My best friend from college is getting married next weekend. We were best friends for four years. Ya, we went to different grad schools and have only seen each other a handful of times in the past few years, but based on who IS in the wedding party and who is not (ME), I feel kind of hurt. Ya, I get to save money and stuff, but it's still just a wierd feeling.

Anyway, the registries for the wedding gifts are for two stores: Sack's and Macy's. All of the wedding guests from out-of-town are being asked to book rooms at the Hilton (reception taking place at Hilton). Plus travel costs, cost of a new dress shirt, temptation to get drunk on free alcohol at the reception when I've been doing the whole sobriety effort, etc. I am going to be bankrupt :(

Not looking forward to this wedding.
