^ You just pegged my college lifestyle when it's crunch time... which is only a total of about 4 months per year, but hey, I agree! Thank goodness for summer.
^ Shit , that disturbed me.
I find, for my self at least, that most things I've learned to do on one state of consciousness are often difficult to perform while in another.
When I'm really irritated, either due to being too bored, too sober, or something else entirely, I find reading a book helps me a lot. Kind of takes you out if the world for a while, but lets you drop back in whenever you like - unlike cannabis.
Has anyone quit only to start back up again? Why? What made you want to go back?
One of the only things that keep me sane is music. When my mind starts going down hill, I just blare it out with loud music. Get a descent system and you will know what I mean. I actually was reading the newspaper bored as work today and they said that listening to music helps destress you after work instead of going home all raged or something.
I would totally agree with this. However for me, only certain kinds will calm me down, or cheer me up. If I've got some proper angry metal on, that doesn't really help, but some Jimmy Eat World (or the like) usually does the job. I once managed to stop a bad HBWR trip with it (by making it better, not ending it)!
But, shit i'm only 19 and I realise now is the time for change, i've got the rest of my life to enjoy the high from weed, why not enjoy my youth first.
