I used to have great insurance under my parents, and that didn't cover as much as my now assistated state insurance (well, complete state isurance) which covers methadone and suboxone and my scripts. Do I agree with it - no. Am I the type of person who wouldn't take advantage of it and stockpile massive amounts of bupe - no 8)
 
^ indeed .2-.4mg is all that is needed for pain releif, just not available in the US

in the US we have 8mg and 2mg. overkill doses if you ask me

I'm now clean of bupe! :D This is now the 14th day without it.

I was more of a recreational user but things went a bit too far and i started shooting 4-6mgs (IV)/day. about 4 months had passed by (on the daily regime) and I was getting zero recreation out of bupe and decided to get a grip of myself. So it was cold turkey for me.. 8o (well i had my benzos)

First 2 days i spent just sleeping. I mean i just had no energy at all because i couldn't get my morning fix. This wasn't too bad.

day 3 & 4 felt like i had been sober. Just a little depressed.

On the 5th day started to get cold chills through my body and they were getting stronger to the point where i could feel the coldness to originate from my bones. I fucking hate this and the pain i can feel in legs when this happens. Most of you know how this shit works out, it's awfull.

Only minimal coldness on day 11.

Coldness stops at day 12.

day 13 & 14: Not feeling too bad at all. I guess i could be slightly depressed but now i'm quite chuffed about myself for getting this far.

But then again in the last 10years I've been on and off bupe countless times and this wasn't nothing new to me.

Kicking buphenorphine seems to became harder the older you get. I'm 33.

@LivingOnValium: Congrats on kicking it. I basicallly ran out early of my bupe and was squeezing out a little remaining, still have to intil tuesday :( It sucks, I haven't slept more than 3 hours in 4 days

I started to have trouble with sleeping on day 4 and i'm still having to struggle to get sleep. I'm so used to benzos that they do not provide any help with this.

Dr. prescribed me Surmontil (trimipramine) 50mg/night and it's helping me to some degree. Surmpontil is a tricyclic and nowhere near as bad as neuroleptics like zyprexa, seroquel etc..
 
lol I was just tellin captain how bad i feel for all of you who dont get a buzz off suboxone. best damn opiate ive ever had(heroin,oxy,vicodin 3 years of lovin those honeys). congrats Valium ^_^ u have something i never will have. courage damn strong courage i might add . everytime i think about my doc taking me off my 24mg suboxone i get scared and anytime i think about getting off suboxone i get really scared. I love it so much i guess, after i got prescribed i had no anxiety, no depression, and i was even able to get a hot gf with some humugo boobs. I wish i could do what you did, because i know ill be on it for the rest of my life although ive never been happier before. but still i wish sometimes i could be clean. anyway kinda off topic i found a bottle of benzos i dont feel like searching for potentiators anyone know of anyways to get the most off of lorezapam? like im already taking grape fruit juice i dont know if that helps and i usually take it sublingual then swallow the juice. if you guys know any ways to improve the BA? oh and i take my suboxone with 95% ethanol and 400mg cimetidine and about 1.75 liter of grapefruit juice throughout the day (no joke). always sublingual tried sorting it a few times that shit burns the nose maybe cause i was snortin 8mg pill :P
 
Paulination: oxazepam, lorazepam, and temazepam are three exceptions to WGFJ/cimetidine potentiation; they are metabolized outside of the cytochrome P enzymes in the liver through hepatic glucuronidation.

Just use lorazepam with buprenorphine. If you are looking for more sedation, antihistamines like hydroxyzine, promethazine, doxylamine, and diphenhydramine are the way to go.

Thanks alot captain smart man u are indeed wish i could steal ur brain ya i think ill just take 3mg i have a low tolerance only took benzos a few times. i heard if u use benzos sublingualy its a better bio and i believe that to since it has worked for me.
Ya suboxone has never worked for me on doses of 2-4mg( i wish it did sure as hell coulda saved alot of money) anyway i know theirs a celing affect but for me its about 24-32mg the first time i knew i took to much is when my friend gave me like 7 8mg suboxones and i took 1 then after 30 min didnt think it was working so i took two and then three. I took them at college to lol i almolst got to the point of where i almost was sick but it was just on the edge of being sick u know the feeling when your almost to high hehe. next week i took 16mg and felt alot better still i believe that 32mg is as high as you can go for suboxone, but thats just be for me. people say 16mg is the ceiling i just know its 32mg for me based on experience with different suboxone dosages. but thats my experiences and i dont know about other people

Damn, you and captainheroin have some crazy patience, I'd shoot myself before I divided out 1/40th a sub (even though it's only like 5 divisions, still....)

With respect to opiates and benzo's, I think cimitidine is really a godsend
 
mmm gonna take the benzos in like half an hour after my suboxone is fully absorbed, from my experiences i think benzos and suboxone is my fav combination so far out of any combinations in my life. each one makes the other one stronger and u can really feel the anagelsia take full effect the benzos become more active to lol. hey how long do u feel it takes the subs to fully absorb sublingualy? i usually swallow it at 45 minutes

The longest I've been on buphenorphine (no breaks) is 1.5 years (+the time I had to buy it from the street). I was on Bupe maintenace in Latvia but living in Finland. I had to go there twice a month. So i had to take a ferry to Estonia and continue from there to Latvia by bus. The queu for finnish BMT was just too long (ca. 2years) and even then the chances to get on it were slim. (however, it's a bit better nowadays)

That was really fucked up shit because on top of everything I had to pay for the meds (28 x Subutex 8mg + Rivotril/clonazepam 2mg x 30 + xanax 1mg x 30 = every two weeks) as well. I was able to keep up with all that by selling half of my Subutex to get the money for the next trip after two weeks. So that means I was using 8mg/day (IV). Never sold any benzos though, I used all of them by myself.

That time when quit bupe it took me a whole month (ca. 30 days) to feel bearable/normal.

But as i've told in the previous posts this time the suffering lasted only 2 weeks and this was after 4months of IV abuse (4-6mg/day).


I'm not new to buprenorphine WDs. Actually I've been through it too many times.

WORD OF WARNING!:

As I said before: The older you get the harder it is to get clean from buprenorphine.

Me too but i believe from all the medical articles ive read that ketoconazole increases the AUC(area under the curve) and cmax(maximum concentrations) of suboxone by about 50-70z5 for cmax and AUC. I have about 300 pills of ketoconazole i got in online as a fish fungus medication but they just say that its for fish use because u need a prescription if its for human use anyway its about 100$ for 100 pills. I got lucky, 100 pills in a bottle for 11$ each i got three jusjust dont wanna OD t wish i woulda bought 20 more of them.

I saw on wikipedia that GFJ was a bigger inhibitor than cimetidine for the CYP34A enzyme ( means that the better the inhibitor the better the buzz your going to get from suboxone. i dont know if this is true but i would like to believe it since i drink alot of GFJ daily now and i do have to say i get alot more buzzed than usual. also if your taking Saint johns wart it actually decreses the effect of suboxone ive read a few people saying to take SJW as it increases the metabolism which means it leaves your body faster which is hella funny as the dumbasses think that increased metabolism of a drug icreases your high(smacks head)

Yea, I'd assume it works the same way, however, I'd also assume that past a certain point your chances of OD wouldn't increase at all. Once you fully inhibit p450 3A4 you can inhibit it any more? Just perhaps longer.

I can never find cheap cimitidine, its $11 for $50 and thats generic
