festivals 2010

Anyone go to the Cultural Vibes festival in Cornwall last weekend? It was more of a weekender than a festival though.

I looked at that NPLD website a few weeks ago and all I could see were Irish indie bands on the lineup so I wrote it off as not worth it, then, yesterday I was on another forum and they were talking about the techno bunker going all night culminating in a crusty orgy at sunrise on the summer solstice!!

Damn, if I'd known earlier I would've got down there for the techno and the sunrise.... not sure about the crusty orgy :-)

Glad I didn't go to Body and soul though, I'd say after Life it would be far far too tame. Life is the best festival in Ireland at the moment!
What ever happened to Leechrum and Mantua?

Not me, good mate of mine was down for it though, looked real good fun, loads of oldies trying to recapture lost youth ;) , doin' a pretty good job of it too, show these young'uns a thing or two, etc......%)

looks like this is going to be a more serious summer, saving up, but I'm going to steward at the Green Phoenix Festival, which sounds like a resurrection of sorts of the Big Green Gathering!! MMMMM Should be good...never been up to Newcastle/Durham way, or wherever it is..but it's got some awesome music acts, and lots to do with sustainable living and healing and probably learning how to rid yourself of the system more and more...good times. <3
 
That looks like a good day out, have suggested it to a few mates. And only £29.

Aye that's got a good line up, I know a few people that are going. I was originally meant to be going but there's the small matter of... WUTANG CLAN PLAYING! YAAAAAAAAAS!!!!... on the same day, so I'm going to that instead.
 
Dunno if I'm going yet just thought it looked like a decent day out from the link and have asked a oouple of mates if they're up for it, not confirmed yet.

Hahah, i would have been one of those oldies! :)

Gutted i couldn't go. I spent a good few years misbehaving at Cultural Vibes in the early nineties.
 
Euro festivals from sep - dec

Looking for info on festivals happening from September to December? Anyone know of some good festivals to check out during this time?

I heard Awakenings is a must in Netherlands, also is Nature One around this time?

Please fill me in.
 
Going to Latitude next week, going to get myself some AMT for it and make it rather awesome :D

Interesting addition, Tom Jones of all people is playing on the Thursday at midnight, oddest choice ever. He's also playing a tiny part of the arena and I can imagine quite a lot of people will want to see him so it could be quite the squeeze.

Heading meself tommorow. I go every year as I live close by, most years get washed out, looks like rain on the way soon %)
Not too hard to get supplies past the security , get the odd prick but most are ok

njoy the wend.being 4 times myself but 08 was my last
becarefull as the place will be flooded with white facebooks,know of a bloke who got stuck with a large amount and was unable to get rid of them since xmas.
he and a few other dickheads reckon the will sell them no problem in the campsite/carpark.
the weather is going to be shite again=rain thur/fri and saturday.
sunday nite is always rough as fuck
 
Got titp tomorrow, weed, AMT and morning glories will get me through day 1. Rain looks shit though. Was pure considering electric frog until I realised it was wutang night =/ stll need a ticket. Whats everyone elses drug agenda? xD
