festivals 2010

Rockness was fucking banging as per usual! Smashed silly on the friday, pretty much whole campsite seemed to be eyes in the back of their heads jaws quivering :D

Bounced down the hill when fatboy played praise you, danced like a fucking loony! We were chatting to Benga for a while aswell and throwing some mad shapes in most of the tents. Sub Club tent was absolutely ace aswell!

Sat I ran out of MDMA half way through the day after taking in 6grams! Was almost starting to comedown when we got some lines of ket then bought a few grams of meph. Met some really cool randomers, chatted absolute nonsense for fucking hours!!

Sat I missed Boys Noize when we were spangled in campsite and then Busy P never showed up for Club75 which was a bit of a let down. On sat night we caused utter chaos, was shouting at police for keys to amnesty bins, asking for a quarter of drone with my chips, rattlesnake burgers, trying to jump on the ambulance.... my mate was bouncing right up behind people haha at one point I was sure we'd get arrested or sectioned!

Was alot more radges about this year I thought. People fighting etc, or just plain hitting people for no reason either. Somehow we managed to avoid any trouble.

Sunday was quality stayed down the festival from 2pm-finnish basically. Dave Clarke was fucking mental, so was Vitalic, two of the best all weekend!

Was good seeing so many people I hadn't seen in ages and meeting loads of cool randoms :)

Not been about much... brain zaps til wednesday!

Sounds like you were the trouble. ;)

I'm glad I didn't go now with your talk of folk fighting and stuff, and seeing them talking to festival goers on the tele on Friday everyone looked like a daftie or silly wee bairn.

A few people told me they seen Busy P and he was really good. The Club 75 was a 4 hour set mind so you might've missed him.
 
^ He never turned up! He was ment to play last and it was DJ Medhi who played last. We were told before we even went down he wasn't going to be there. Was fairly gutted as that was probably who I'd have wanted to see most tbh.

Spade - Nah the dickheads probably wouldn't have been a problem if you weren't local. We were causing mayhem but weren't getting violent with anyone or any of that type shite, especially at a festival! :|
 
Didn't see one fight while I was there. Seen a few people collapsed but it looked more likely to be due to chemicals than fists.
 
Don't get me wrong it wasn't seriously bad like. I just noticed it seemed to be a bit more radgey than the last 3 times I've been. Probably to be expected with more people knowing about it. I'd still recommend it, quality weekend!

Seemed to be more people who were aware of what they were taking this year I thought. Lads from Ireland and Aberdeen I was speaking to seemed fairly clued up on pillreport etc. Was almost wondering if they were on bluelight!?
 
might head over for Planet Love. Boys we know fea Belfast went last year and said it was amazing.
 
If enough people show interest for Planet Love closer to the time I'll create a PL2010 thread and try and get some form of Bluelighter meet up organized, would be nice to put names to faces and what a good scenario to meet up it would be!

Cousin DJ'ing at that. Drum + Bass. Wanted to go to Body + Soul but ended up out all last weekend when was supposed to "take it easy" after Life but will have to give it a miss as feel burnt out without sounding too ould or moaning. Would have loved to see a few acts at B+S but sure...the whole summer ahead for more! :)
 
hey ya'll i will be over from australia this next 6 months. solo travelling, but goign to ATP nightmare before christmas and la route du rock. tickts so far. anything else? or anyone else going there?

I have never known anyone have any issues apart from I think it was 2007 when it was quite tight that year as they used a different firm. (They just hung around the club tent searching people who looked like they were doing drugs)

The Big Chill is seen more as a family festival during the day but it gets messy at night :D

You will have major issues sneaking in though ... You will only be able to stay in the campsites as you need to show a wrist band to get into to see the music.
