A paranoid health question:
Yeasterday when a friend smoked weed in a bong he noticed that sometimes the lighters flame dies with the gas still pumping, but if he don't notice this he still keep sucking and then inhaling ligther gas for a short, short time.
Questions:
1) Even if it is just a little unburned gas he gets in to his lungs during a night of bongsmoking, can it still kill some of his braincells? (he usually hold the smoke down for 5-8 seconds)
2) When the lighter is lit, does all the gas really get burned or will some manage to escape unburned and enter the lungs of the smoker?
