Surely a lot of you folk have got nothing to do on the Glade weekend.. and I'm sure that there will be a big ole free party daaan soowwth. Maybe that would be a good event?

I'll be one of the guys wearing a flourescent jacket, wearing a funny hat ;D.

i was gonna say something similar. :) after all that talk over two years and hunners of people saying they would go, only about a dozen turned up.

btw red arrow, wibble, and whore went too. ;)
 
i don't think we were ever gonna go to the arches; that was probably just kate trying to wind you up. it would have been fucking great fun to embarrass you in front of your wee mates though. :D

Loads of folks turned up to the Dam' meet up...it's just some of were a bit eh fucked up and missed some things 8)

I blame Infinite Jest ;)

no there was around 15 people there, people came from all over the world too. as far as usa, new zealand, uk etc

was not the same as a typical uk meetup however, which is understandable since it took place in holland.

I know the three pints of shandy you had fucked your memory, but surely you remember I was there? Prick!

There were a handful of Americans too.

Thing is, it was in the middle of a recession, and a lot of people who'd accepted, did so before they knew it was in Europe. And a lot more left the board before it happened (including the guy who suggested it).

There was this crazy dutch (?) guy at the 10 year global meetup, nobody understood a single word that came out of his slurring loud drunken double dutch mouth as he spilled beers all over everyone while looking for mushrooms but we endearingly christened him 'loco'

Its comforting to know that there was at least one person there more fucked up than you.

Haha, he would have probably been sporting a pair of Nike Rifts, thinking he was down with the kids. I cannae mind who it was that was saying they had a pair of them the other day but they're by a mile the worst gutties I've ever seen.
