I've now tried a few things that people have suggested in this thread. Thought i'd post my experiences in-case anyone's interested.
Tried the grapefruit juice thing.
Drank 2 large glasses (about a litre), waited 20 minutes, then took my usual cwe brew - approx 300mg. All on an empty stomach.
...did not really notice much of a difference, if any. Was rather disappointed as there seem to be so many reports of this working. I'm no expert on chemical volatility however, so maybe the time that elapsed between ingestion of juice and cwe brew might have something to do with it. Would appreciate some feedback from people that have successfully used grapefruit juice as a potentiator.
Also tried the orange juice thing.
Same process as above, but replaced grapefruit juice with pure orange juice.
Definitely noticed some effects this time. Nothing terribly outrageous, but there was definitely a significant change in the strength of the effects, enough to warrant trying it again.
Again though, i'd appreciate some input with regards to ingestion times, amounts etc..
Then again, the placebo effect is a clever demon, so this could all be in my head. But i'm certain that the OJ strengthened my experience.
Not tried the anti-histamine method yet. Will attempt this later in the week and post results.
