Food Thread - I cook, I eat, I .....

haha its bloody awesome aye.

The only downside is I like to make bulk ammounts of food and I have a feeling that banana might not freeze very well. Although it should be possible to make the base and then just add the banana when re heating.

Also I am planning on trying the next one with coconut cream instead of normal cream. Will give it an extra Thai flavour.
 
I am eating the nicest cheesecake right now and it has inspired me to start cooking cheesecakes as well as other things....when I cook ill def take some pics of my masterpieces :D
 
^ Baked Cheesecake is the best cake ever, even better than chocolate! To buy a good baked cheese cake would be at least 30 or 40 bucks, we used to get them for peoples birthdays at work from a gourmet cheesecake shop. So good.


Won a nice meat tray last night that was all lamb, god I love lamb :D
 
My attempt at making an Indian curry from scratch is simmering on the stove right now.....hope it works out:\
 
i had some left over home made massaman beef curry... with some packet rice... i think it was coconut, chili and lemongrass rice

it was fuckin awesome <3

Cool! What sort?! I'd love to make curries from scratch. I've done a few Dahls over the years with the straight herbs, but I'd love to do some traditional ones too. Even a homemade Butter chicken would be awesome! Let us know how it goes...

Rolled Lamb roasts stuffed with;
Breadcrumbs
Garlic
Butter
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Rosemary
Apple

Also made gravy by roasting the lamb bones with about 3 cups of red wine, salt pepper, chicken stock, sugar and leaving it at 160 degs for a good 90 minutes. Sive into a saucepan and reduce, reduce, reduce...

I keep ripping out recipes from magazines after salivating over them and thinking 'yeah can make that!' then I addthem to my big clear slip of recipes THAT NEVER GET MADE

so sad that im writing that i ate macca's, i also had a McChicken...

so bad, but oh so good!!!

We had left over chilli con carne from last night that i made, with sour cream. Was delicious.

Don't worry man, will_rave will buy himself a large big mac meal, with a extra McChicken, and a extra fillet o fish. He becomes inhuman once he is faced with McD's. I horrifies me every time. 8o:|=D
 
Yum...Im making some creamed rice with custard for dessert....I cant wait.

BTW if anyone has any good recipes for either one or both of those delectable foods please share with us :D
 
I'm thinking of defrosting some Lamb and doing a Lamb (obviously), Fennel, Carrot, Beans, casserole... Served on a bed of Potato & Leek mash... But duckboy gets NONE! N-O-N-E!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
