Never been to Reading / Leeds but from what I know those two are more 15yr old mini moshers getting away from mummy and daddy for the first time ever who's only aim is to wreck the place and set things on fire, yeah?

T isn't really like that, folk don't wreck the place anyway. Lot of folk are on drugs but it's pretty boozy too. Few fannies going around looking for trouble and being dicks but on the whole most folk who go (or at least a few years ago) are sound. I probably would go back if I got a free ticket like but not shelling out close to £200 for a weekend regardles of who's playing. It's a totally commercial festival like the Carling Weekend is like, nothing alternative or quirky going on.

I really want to experience Glasto some time.

Just noticed this Evad :o Aye solfest sounds decent, have a couple of mates who are regulars there and love to dress up for it - catwoman lol <3 apparently they have a horse box sauna 8) I must have a look at the dates and see what's what...a summer isn't right without festival anticipation :D

Damn this non-planning malarkey :|

Yeah gotta agree with you there, the crowd look rowdy and the atmosphere doesnt look particularly great, but its the main one all my mates are going too :\ Bloody expensive as well!
 
its 5 days to LIFE FESTIVAL.....

weather is to be warm - humid - sunny - small chance of rain.

im going with 2 mates.

Evening, 'nother Scot here:) Been lurking a long time on BL and decided to come out the closet! - would recommend Eden Festival down in Moffat this year. Twas a wicked time at last years; small, mellow and very mushroomtastically friendly!

yeah life is looking great!!going on my tod,mate pulled out:X he likes rock music, so dont think this festival would suit him, which is understandable.hopeflly ill meet some old mates and make new ones.just hopefully i can find some mdma or pills before friday. weather is looking good for the weekend =D sweet!!
 
Captain, Eden line last year was good - Eat Static, System7, Banco de Gaia etc. Have look at the facebook page, it stil lists all the band from last year. Not much for this year yet, and a different venue

Was a bit of a crusty love fest tbh, but a good laff nonetheless. Very little nedness either! From lurking here, I believe psytrance ain't your thing :! but some of the tents/sounds were cool at 3am in the morning!! Most things easily got too ;)

Highlight - coming up on mushies at the start of the System7 set and having to go lie in my tent 'cos it was all a bit tooooo much
 
eat static seem to manage to play every small festival in the world
