I think that is going to be a turning point for Israel on an international level, primarily because most of the detainees and victims are Turkish citizens. Turkish Israeli relations are at a turning point, and it is interesting to see how people are going to react in Turkey, when the victims etc are announced.
 
Just saw the full video, the IDF allegedly one of the finest and well trained armies of the world and they can't deal with a few civilians with catapults and sticks without shooting them with automatic weapons. What a joke.

Yes the people on the ship attacked the Israelis and it was justified because the Israelis were illegaly boarding their ship in international waters when they had no right to do so.
 
Out of the 83 so far detained only 25 have been willing to be deported, the rest are going to face Israel's justice system.

As soon as it happened all recording devices, mobile phones, everything were either jammed or confiscated by the Israelis meaning they could release a story from their side to the press.

Israel seem to be pretty much untouchable for some reason, I don't know enough about it to have a clue why. Why do the majority of the worlds governments think "Ahhh, it's cool, let them do what they want, they're Israel"?

Fuck Israel. Everything I ever hear about Israel makes me think that country is a cunt. I don't mean the actual people of Israel, I'm sure there's the same ratio of cunts to non-cunts as there is here, but the people in charge are bonkers & they're allowed to get away with it, with seemingly no repercussions. Someone tell me why? (That's not a rhetorical question, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this as I can't be fucked researching it myself)

The jews were prosecuted in WW2, they can now use that as a reason to be cunts to other people and everyones scared to tell them to toe the line. Fuck Israel indeed, what happened to them was horrible I don't deny it but I think they should be put back in their place. The past was in the past, they are not the first people ever to be persecuted. You'd think they'd have learnt from it, instead they treat the people of Gaza with such contempt that they don't even see them as human. The things they get away with are unreal.

I met a lot of Israelis in Australia and some in Asia, they were 99% cunts. All straight out the IDF, chip on their shoulder, point to prove, always looking for an argument. I can only guess living in a place surrounded by enemies, with a Government who tells you the world is out to get you and that you're better than the muslim people and countries who surround you coupled with the fact you're forced into the IDF for 2 years and made to shoot innocent Palestinian children makes you a bit fucked up.

And as Evad pointed out a counter balance to the muslim countries in the region for the West. Personally after all the shit they've pulled I'd cut them off and let them rot. How far are we gonna let them go before we finally say enough is enough?
 
As well as the fact there's a huge number of Jewish, Pro-Israeli people in VERY high places in The US Government, Israel was seen as a brother in arms terrorist victim after 9/11

Bush effectively put his arm around Sharon and said "we feel your pain, here take these F-18's and put em to good use"

Whilst I agree Israel is clearly a victim of terrorism and has a right to defend itself to the hilt, it's its own worst enemy and time after time it fucks it up, makes hideous errors like this ship incident....basically makes you see why it gets attacked and is hated by so many people.

Folk thinking they're better than someone because of their religion is the most stupid thing ever. I'm better than all of them because I'm not stupid enough to have a religion, every religion is fucking stupid. (Well, everyone that I know a bit about, there might be some obscure ones out there that are really cool but I doubt it, if they involve a god then they are ridiculous)

You know, I've never actually met a Jew. Well, not that I know of anyway. I did once convince a few people that have known me for years that I was born Jewish but didn't practice my religion. It ended when someone had the bright idea of telling me to get my cock out to prove it haha.

If you want to draw down on IDF Commandos, you will end up losing. The shame is that 7 Israeli soldiers were stabbed with axes and shot with pistols in a stupid publicity stunt.

rach, i've wasted many hours of my life i'll never get back reading your bullshit excuses about Israel's crimes, and this has to be the weakest yet. stop avoiding the point here and explain why the fuck armed Israeli forces had the temerity to board aid ships in international waters?

btw, if 7 of your elite IDF were injured by people brandishing axes and pistols, perhaps they need a bit more training for when they actually go up against legitimate opposition.
