Ummm... I appreciate the effort, but that was about as close to trip hop as a peanut butter and pickle sandwich.

And you made me watch a cute baby. I kept waiting for it to explode, but no such luck.

Well I wish I could help but I have no knowledge of "dark trip hop" ....

thizz, mdmahead, and toa$t have a lot of knowledge regarding electronic music, maybe they could give a helping hand?
 
fispumping and techno are two different genres so to speak.
fistpumping would mean gabber/dutch hardcore which is what really makes my fist pump.
try dj wilfee c, evil activities, dj ravine has a sick as gabber mix youtube it
 
dark trip hop

i used to be a huge fan of trip hop, still am, but ive stopped hunting down tracks of it, but id recommend anything by unkle, tricky, lamb, the mix album the k & d sessions by kruder and dorfmeister, morcheeba, dj shadow

oh and defintely check out the sneaker pimps too, and id guess you already have heard the songs half day closing and cowboys by portishead, their second album is incredibly dark and harsh and grainy, alot of people dont think its as good as their first but id say its just as good if not better, but honestly haha im surprised that youre having trouble finding dark trip hop, im finding it almost difficult to find "light" trip hop in my collection, well i hope this list sets you off in the right direction
