Rikodeine/DHC questions

tried Riko 3 times 200ml each time, but only got the infamous pissing shit effect the last time.... it defiantly is a matter of timing thats for sure.

it takes a long time to work, but it also lasts quite a while... i noticed quite a few chemists stock it, and i always mentioned my doctor suggested it for a dry cough... no questions asked, but they always try and sell you the 100ml bottle, but then my response is whats the price difference and yeah it's not hard to work out whats better value for money
 
200ml is definitely the way to go for it's proper effects.
I have no problems with purchasing it in my area, the chemist down the road are really cool with me, I just ask for the usual and all they ask is 100ml or 200ml.
But I have a pretty relaxed relationship with that shop, we always have a chat, and as long as I have photo ID they don't mind :-)

I find it stimulating as well, as do other friends of mine, I normally drink 200ml all day but still don't get much sleep from it.

Not sure why I like it so much, always been a stim fellow, and illicit one at that, but there's something warm and fuzzy about it.

Anyone seen the new bottles? They look more like the old VB stubbies from the olden days, and have a child safety cap.
 
funny i get more euphoria from codeine, but my pupils are a lot more pinned with 200mls of riko and riko lasts twice as long but takes forever to come on
 
I would say theres more mental "euphoria" or sense of well being/contentness off DHC but it is seriously lacking in a body high, the feeling of contentness I get from codeine comes from the warm and fuzzy feeling while I lay down.

Belarki you make an interesting point about the sugar being stimulating, but I am pretty experienced with stimulants and doubt I would get a sugar high.

Sublimit my pupils NEVER go that pinned on codeine but I definately noticed they were pretty pinned on 200ml DHC. I didn't find it took ridiculously long to come on but definately longer than codeine, its funny the effects last about twice as long for me but when I use codeine I get a sense of well being and a mild itch that stick with me for about a day, I never noticed this with DHC.
 
^yep, i get a lot more histamine release of a codeine cwe vs that of a 180mg+ IV shot of morphine. initially the morphine histamine release is more intense/acute but dies off quickly on me, while the codeines will last, at guess as im rather messed up now, for 6-8+ hours.

I didn't IV morphine that day as i had no equipment available to me and was in the country. I shall experiment further..

As far as notion goes, mg for mg on all acounts i find heroin far better - far less histamine reaction and coinciding stimulatory effects - just pure euphoria and sedation.

6-MAM is the primary metabolite they search for to detect heroin usage among addicts AFAIK. I cbf researching right now, but is anyone sure of the activity 6-MAM has?
 
^ugh i used to have a few good articles on that on my old computer which are no long with me.

morphine(more so) and 6-MAM are the main metabolites (ive just woken up, give me a chancw) which are tested for. while drug testing, morphine is the more sought after "negative" hence why they're on NIDA 5 tests, etc.

^Was that oral or iv? If you did iv it(dont think you did unless you have a good tolerance happening), whats the main difference between morphine and heroin when iv'd, does h just provide a more intense rush from being able to cross the bbb faster?

I've always considered morphine to be the exact same high as heroin except heroin is a few times more potent mg for mg and has a better rush..

heroin crosses the BBB twice as fast and efficient as morphine which results in the more intense, euphoric rush. though heroin half life in vivo is only that around 2minutes, until its starts to metabolise into morph, 6-mam, etc. you're spot on a heroin high is going to be the same as a morphine high, just lacking the extra kick;)
 
Have 200ml of Rikodeine to play with tonight. Hoping the 380mg of DHC does a bit more than the 600mg of codeine I usually dose.
 
^ Hey dude, expect less sedation from it than codeine would give you and be prepared for the possibility of pissing out your arse!

When I get around to doing it again I am definately going to eat a fuckload of benzos in the hope of adding some sedation. If you are experienced with benzos and have some on hand I reccomend dosing some, if its your first DHC experience then don't take too many though. ;)

On an unrelated note I have some heroin to play with for my opiate Thursday this week and I am fucking pumped. :D

Eh i'm pretty blocked up from codeine and the opiate factor of the DHC should add to that and cancel out the ass piss I hope lol.

I have a few temazepam on hand which I'll add to the combo if you recommend it then, if DHC doesn't sedate as much as codeine it'll probably need it I agree. Temazepam is pretty crappy anyway so if I can make the most of it with some DHC that'd be great.

Ah sounds like you're going to be having a bangin' opiate thursday then ;). Heroin is fantastic to play with haha.
 
^ Yeah dude I would definately take some temazepam, personally I rate temaz as a great benzo its just shit you only get 10mgs because it is a tiny dose. Hopefully the temaz with a few cones and a beer or two if your so inclined gives you a worthwhile, sedated buzz.

If your plugged up on codeine you shouldn't have any dramas, could always get some loperamide if you were overly concerned. Honestly for me I was in the toilet for 5 minutes, not much of a deterrant assuming the DHC gives you a decent high.

I am rather excited about my heroin, not sure what ROA to opt for. Been a good while since I had a play with it.
 
^ I love temazepam, I think it goes great with opioids but make sure you do them roughly at the same time, once I was all benzo fucked already when I did the codeine and didn't really feel the codeine at all, just blacked out...

Whereas if I drink the codeine then pop a couple of temaz or diazepam, then I'm in heaven. :D
