My besty who is currently living in Austria sent me this authentic Austrian recipe.
It is called curry geschnitzeltes.
You need:
Breast fillet chicken diced
Rice (Jasmin) 1 cup
Curry powder (a lot about 3 normal spoons)
Soy sauce (maybe 30ml)
Pinneapple diced from tin
Banana diced
Cream 1x150ml
onion 1
Chicken stock tea spoon
Herbs:
Corriander seeds x 15 crush as you put them in
Clove x 5
Salt pepper
Boil rice.
Fry the chicken in butter wih a little salt and pepper until almost done. Remove from frying pan.
Put onions in frying pan, fry for 2 mins. Reduce heat add cream, chicken stock, salt and pepper, curry powder, corriander, clove and soy sauce. Allow to lightly simmer for 5 mins. Add pineapple and some juice from tin, banana and chicken. Cook until chicken is ready.
Pour chicken and sauce over rice and enjoy.
It is easy to make, just have to play the soy sauce and currry mostly to get to your taste. Remember soy sauce is very salty so not to much extra salt.
