Oh gosh..... now I'm gonna cry! My first cat, all my very own, lived for 11 years- Tippy. By some miracle another kitty I had, gave birth in my linen closet, and we kept the only black one with white markings underneath, named Midnight. I used to joke they both looked like they were wearing bras and underwear! Midnight was 12 and passed away less than a year ago. They looked just like Spork and purplefirefly's.
But.... I won't post them since this is about the current pets we own.
I'll post pics of my mini zoo soon!

Keep those posts coming! It's awesome!

Awwwwwww, she's so purdy! I'm thinking black lab might be in her?
She looks like a sweet and well- behaved dog.
That's what I love about my pups....they're both well- behaved, mellow and lazy!
After ten minutes of play time, it's nap time!

I had an English Pointer once; all the caffeine in the
world couldn't make me as hyper as she was.

No way n3.... You have a "Sushi/Sushii", too!
Cool! I'll get some pics of my zoo up soon. Mine's a doggie tho.

Hearing all the different names is fun.
And I'm seeing such cuties!!

One big fat white kitty with blue eyes and pink ears- Her name is Little Bitty.
This is my fav of Bitty :

And one tabby that I think is part Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat and maybe long ago some persian? Her name is Fuzzy Buttons.

They're my babies.

Ohhhhhh ocean..... I'm in love!<3
They are just absolutly bee a uuu ti full!!
I want to pet them for a week straight, for starters!

I tried putting a harness on Sasha today to see if I could get her to eventually follow on a leash, but she wasn't down with it at all. She would just sort of fall to her side because she wanted to smell the weird foreign thing that I put on her.

Random funniness. lol

Hahahahahaha!!!! Cats on leashes are the FUNNIEST thing ever! When we first moved to our new house a few years ago we took each of our 3 kitties out in to the backyard, one at a time. We put a harness on them just in case they ran off. It was absolutely hilarious and adorable at first, just plain confusion about this thing attached around their abdomen! But it only took about 4-5 minutes for them to get used to it, and their curiosity of the new backyard got the better of them ;)

We're gonna give it another go this summer when its warmer. It was pretty chilly outside last night.

R&R - I HIGHLY recommend the bengal breed for anyone who wants an athletic and personable cat. Sasha is very high strung, with a very quick metabolism (she eats like a horse!!). She's pretty smart, it took very little prompting to teach her how to play fetch for example.

If you are interested I can PM you the info for the breeder that I purchased Sasha through.
Your kitties are so pretty!!! I luuuurve Bengals because of how smart and athletic they are - it's like the perfect mix between cat and dog! :) My cat Loki taught himself to play fetch, and it blew my mind (he's a shelter cat that I got because his litter had ocular herpes and no one would take them!!! So it was totally random and weird that he was so smart). My other is also very intelligent and *extremely* personable - I highly value real personality in cats, and it's an important part of selecting one for me, not that I would ever turn an animal in need away. :) I would definitely love the breeder info - it's so hard to find reputable ones...

I wish I had pictures to share. I know the bf has some, so I'll have to ask him. :)

I will certainly forward you that information tonight when I get home.

If I was "allowed" to get two additional cats (sonic would NOT be happy if I came home with two more purebred cats LOL or....ANY more cats for that matter) I would get a snow bengal, blue eyes are a MUST and an ebony oriental shorthair.

I don't see that happening any time soon right now though. Ah well, c'est la vie. LOL

How big are bengals? How much do they weigh? Are you in the States.....don't think they are too common here...

My zoo pics coming soon...

Bengals are just the size of regular house cats. Sasha probably weighs about 8 lbs if I had to guess. She's very long and lean, she has an INCREDIBLE metabolism. She eats like a horse but burns it right off.

I am in the United States. It's bred from an Asian Leopard Cat and a domestic cat. One of the cat reference books that I have states that the Bengal was originally bred in the US, but the wikipedia entry didn't mention that.

Here is the wikipedia entry
