People who use the word 'hallucinogen' and 'tripping' while talking about marijuana must certainly never have tried shrooms or LSD......

Oh sure, i've had some minor visual glitch after eating alot of marijuana cookies. The keyword here is minor

& as for the people writing that article, have they ever smoked ganja, or, better yet -

tried some shrooms?
try 5 grams of shrooms and listen to music all slow mo for the whole trip. then tell me what trippin is, journalist.

Don't fall for it man. I'm sure tom went crazy on the couch bc he'd been smoking pcp against his vow to be drug free as a scientologist.
 
I'll keep my eyes open for it at the clubs. Theyve had a lot of purple named after people, and honestly I wasnt impressed with this last one I got called Purple Kim. But if this Tom Cruise Purple is all the hype then shit, its at least worth trying. Anyone here actually try this strain before? Im interested in this special trip that it is said to have. OP, where did you hear that it has these "hallucinogenic" or special properties to its high?

Smoking dank herb does that to me too or reminds me of a very low dose of shrooms but I don't see OEVs but the imagination and alpha waves flow while meditating and listening to music or just when reading a book.

When I smoked pot I tried to keep my tolerance very low and only did it 1-3X a month at the most or I'd abstain from smoking for a month or a few like in the winter.

I've also eaten Mexican brick schwag in Leary biscuits (Cheese and herb crackers), and it also reminded me of a low dose of shrooms with the body buzz and mindstate.

You can trip off of THC but it's not like a high dose of LSD or mushrooms.

I have smoked the next night after tripping and the high was more psychedelic even though we were only smoking mids and then later some dank.

you're a tool if you believe that Cannabis is not a hallucinogen.

it is a hallucinogen, plain and simple.
not as strong and pronounced as LSD or mushrooms, but it is a hallucinogen, regardless.

Well, I discovered the news about this strain via a friend of mine. We were joking around about how everyone said it had hallucinogenic properties since weed is obviously a psychedelic. I was just paraphrasing the stupidity of the everyman's views on cannabis. Sarcasm doesn't register well through text, once again.

But who knows, I wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of one hit shit that'd get you tripping hard with an absurd THC and/or other cannabinoid level. It is cali weed after all. Hopefully a MMJ patient will come around here and report on it.

Sega, yes. I'd go as far to say I've had stronger trips on weed than traditional psychedelics. People underestimate its power.

I didnt say that Cannabis wasnt hallucinogenic at all. I said calling it an hallucinogen is immensely exagerated and inappropriate to describe the drug.

What the fuck "traditional psychedelics" did you take? Weed isn't comparable to any traditional psychedelic (I imagine you mean acid or boomers). Maybe your first couple tokes were amazing and you got tracers.... but common now.

Shit, 100mg of molly is more psychedelic than a blunt, forget lucy, shrooms, or almost any RC.

The only way pot becomes comparable to shrooms or lsd is when you eat it in relative portions to shrooms - IE: 3 grams or so to get you straight fucked and tripping out.
