New Powerful Strain: Tom Cruise Purple

I must emphasize that this would be my most powerful experiences with weed compared to weak standard psychedelic experiences - of course I'm not suggesting a standard dose of weed would be comparable to a standard dose of acid. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well my experiences with dozens of hits of headie sativa weed through a vaporizer, or even more extreme 5g of kief tea, was akin to the psychological powers of a low-dose psilocybin mushrooms. I've had a few rare incidences of pseudo-hallucinations as you implicated - likely due to the factors of severe mental illness, extensive psychedelic use, strength of weed, and sensitivity. I am very hypersensitive to weed though and have genuinely find it extremely powerful at times. If you wish not to believe it, that's fine with me.

By the way I find it hilarious how everyone (not just you guys) are focusing more on the weed itself than Tom going apeshit over it. We must have become jaded to his shenanigans. :P

I can understand pot gaining more hallucinogenic properties after tripping on other substances (ex: I sometimes get acid flashbacks while high, but not usually while sober). I'm inclined to believe you can experience more psychedelic properties from weed after tripping on other hallucinogens.... but it's not the weed making you get OEVs is it? It's the other drugs you've used before :)

And here is our miscommunication, lol. I thought you were suggesting just that.

For the record, I certainly believe you now that you've set your record straight, the previous comment was a bit to misleading for me to let slip by.

And yeah, Tom Cruise couldn't surprise me if he tried.

I definitely have HPPD (that does not bother me in the least - I enjoy it in fact) and weed may slightly intensify those effects though I cannot attest for sure if this is true but I wouldn't be surprised. It's pretty much no question weed has more psychedelic properties after hallucinogenic experiences, particularly extensive ones as I have been a tripper for 5 years now.

As my mother once said, the source of all conflict is miscommunication. ;)

I said calling it an hallucinogen is immensely exagerated and inappropriate to describe the drug.

I agree completely. Psychedelic is a much friendlier word to use in the place of Hallucinogen.

I remember listening to a lecture that I agree with done by Shulgin where he was explaining his reasoning for calling LSD, Psliocybin and Mescalin psychedelics rather than hallucinogens. One compound which Shulgin found (the name currently escapes me) produced only auditory hallucinations and was an example of a real hallucinogen. Not only does this drug produce an unprovoked hallucination, but no visual distortions that we normally call hallucinations were noticed.

Pot on the other hand doesn't really produce much in the way of visual distortion, at least in my experience. I may be able to see how some could call it a psychedelic because it does create a change in perception, but that's is far as I would take it.

I don't give a fuck about names, I would smoke that in a heart beat, it looks like some wacky RC blend, but purple.
