Human Interest DPMC VIDEOS Thread

One of the women that did smoke admitted to driving with her children in the car while high... what a bad idea to admit that on national television.
yea, that was dumb. plus, her kids are gonna see it. all of their kids are gonna see it. some sooner than later, but all of them.

I just saw this the other day with my girl. I thought it was kind of interesting, but the "anti-pot moms" had the same basic arguments you hear from someone who's never tried pot. I think it's fine to be high around your kids, and I agree it might help you be able to bond with your kids or whatever, but saying that to someone who thinks "marijuana make you act craaazy", of course they are going to think your kids should be taken away. Give them a joint and they'll understand why its not as big of a deal as they are making it out to be. Everyone has their own opinion about driving while high, especially with your kids in the car, and I personally think its fine, atleast the way it effects me. IMHO

edit: btw, I think Tyra was bias on the side of not smoking, instead of being indifferent like she should of been. Its a debate for gods sake. Tyra needs to get off her pedestal, thinking her opinion is always the right one

^ I am not sure if those anti-drug people would loosen up with only one joint.
My first time I got high, it was a strong experience.
It was only as I got used to it that it became easy (easier) to function while high.

But I have to say that being high on weed around my kids tends to be a wonderful experience.
I see aspects of our relationships that I would not have otherwise discovered.
I am able to open in new ways, some permanent.
It is very good.
(psychedelics, on the other hand, do not mix with children for me. I prefer to keep them separated)

there is a DiTM video thread. Hopefully a mod will merge this with the other thread. Looks like an interesting video. Watching it now.

edit: A completely infuriating video. I remember hearing a bit about this around a year ago but i didn't pay much attention to it. Hopefully nobody else pays much attention to this study either. Total rubbish.

British Alcohol May Double In Price....

The British government is trying to clamp down on the country's binge drinking problem just five years after they gave the go-ahead for 24 hour drinking licenses. But critics say responsible drinkers on low incomes would be hit the hardest by the new restrictions.

Doctors not prescribing Oxy in Kentucky and other states.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/living/2010/04/07/am.costello.addicted.pt3.cnn?hpt=C2

I read somebodies post in either here or the North and South American Drug Discussion asking if Oxy is gone in the Midwest or the south, I don't remember.

But this is an article/video about a doctor shot for not writing a script, and other doctors completely stopping prescribing opiates in the Kentucky area.

whoa...had to post this idiocy...

http://www.colbertnation.com/full-episodes/wed-april-7-2010-david-simon

skip to the second section "Nailed'em" to see colbert nail the retardation of Maine's law enforcement, best part is he got them to play right in to it.

"Lemonade is a gateway drink" lulz...what idiots...time to illegalize thought, definitely a gateway product lol

I can't believe i heard someone say lemonade is a gateway drink, much less the attorney general of a state!

I mean, I can still only say whoa...

The history channel has an episode that is going now called hooked about the rise in cocaine use from its early beginning to the 70s-90s. It mentions some important points, such as illegalizing drugs (ie the Harrison Tax Act) was pushing the limits of the constitution. Mandating how physicians could practice medicine which had been a state responsiblity. One of the coolest thing about this show is that they interview one of my personal heroes, joseph Mcnamara, former Police chief of San Jose and Kansas city and stauch partisan against the war on drugs and historian of the drug war. According to a message I can't find on tevo, you can find on history channel.com. I'll try to post if i can find it. These historians are saying what we all know- that the war on drugs is illegal and unconstitutional (thats if you still believe the constitution is the supream law of the land). According to this, the narcoswine had been trying to outlaw drugs for 15 years and international treaties gave them a way of speeding the Harrison Act through congress.

Bookmarked ;)
Thanks for this :) Might not be in the right place though... But then again I'm not sure where else this would fit. Film / TV perhaps?
Guess we'll see what one of the DITM Mods think.

Cheers again!
