Bupe Suboxone/Buprenorphine FAQ and Megathread v.1; 2007 - 2010

^^ I haven't tried combining sub with ghb. I have however combined ghb with oxycodone, both in low doses and felt that they seemed to synergize nicely.
Other than increased cns depressant effects I didn't really notice anything else that could be considered an adverse effect from the combo.
I would also be curious about your experiences with the combo, for future reference ;)

Yeah, benzos + Suboxone = win. I have tried (unless listed otherwise, strictly oral use)...

temazepam
midazolam (IV and oral)
flurazepam (IV and oral)
triazolam (sublingual)
alprazolam
diazepam
lorazepam (sublingual)

those are pretty much in order on how much I like them too. Temazepam or midazolam = best benzos ever. Flurazepam is good for a lonnnng effect, and triazolam is the best of its class (I like it more than xanax).

yea i liked 3mgs of xanax with my sub... feels amazing! got ahold of the 3mgs triangles. love em. Hopefully this gbl will potienate the shit outta my sub and plugging already adds a much better feeling from sub... so what about plugging smaller doses of gbl with suboxone at once? a sort of downer instant combo... let me know im very interested in this combo cuz a source i know has 150mls for me. which i figure will come in handy while in w.d and to potentiate. ALso for comedowns off of Mdma or maybe even other psychs. cant wait to try it out. i Plan to use the gbl to taper off subs also. Wish we me luck! i will report back once the deed is done. but in the mean time can somebody tell me if i can plug gbl with sub at the same time for increased effects?

I haven't heard of plugging GBL before, but I'm sure someone's tried it. I'm also sure it can be done, I don't know why a drug couldn't be plugged, especially when it's already in liquid form.

150ml is pretty generous! I wish someone would give me that equivalent in temazepam! =D You have a nice friend (aka "source" ;)) there, make sure you smoke them up or something.

oh yes i am very lucky cant wait. Im definately not gunna become dependant, just want to potienate every once in a while help with my panic attacks and on comedowns and sleepless nigghts. Also w.ds. so it sounds very helpful. I know its addciting tho. im just trying to figure out if gbl combined in the same plug would relly be a strong euphoria that i can actually handle? i hope i just dont pass out. captain H u dah man !

If you haven't done any drugs in a month then you don't need to be taking suboxone.

I don't think you'd pass out, but then again, I have idea what the effects of GBL are, or the rectal BA.

Maybe try plugging the GBL by itself, seeing what it does to you on its own...then imagine needing less of it than normal to combine with buprenorphine. See what you think it would do. The sedation is intensified for sure (with benzos and buprenorphine) so I suspect this for GBL and GHB too, but am not 100% sure.

^He meant it just because it is pretty strong stuff. You certainly can take it though, just be smart about it. I'd snort little lines to get to where you need to be, like maybe 1/16 or so of the pill at a time. You can also put it under your tongue like intended and try maybe 1/8 of the pill and take a little more if needed. If you take too much, the first side effect that you will probably feel is a sharp pain in your stomach, so you will probably want to avoid that.
 
So I've been trying to explain how Suboxone vs Opioids works, and I need some help. I realized that there's a part I don't really get.

I explained Precipitated Withdrawal as basically this: "Your opioid receptors are covered by the opiates, like heroin. When you take bupe, the bupe goes in, strips those opiates off of the receptors, kicks their asses, and then binds itself on. The precipitated withdrawal is when the original opiates are being stripped off of the receptors." Pretty accurate?

Now, what about the opposite? When you have Bupe on your receptors, but you shoot dope through it and get high. Is the dope just finding spots where there is no bupe, or is it stripping the bupe off? So if I am on bupe, and I shoot enough heroin to get high, and the heroin wears off - is the bupe still there to keep me from going into regular old opiate withdrawal?

definately ill let you all know how it goes because apparently knowone else has combined these two... somebody has got too at some point i wish they would stumble upon this thread and let me know how safe it is. I should be fine i have a decent tolerance been using opiates for 6 years but 3 of them were dependent. and as for benzos i just usually use high doses and go on binges every few weeks/months. So i have a tolerance to both and im assuming GBl should'nt be much different in the effects im hoping for a more euphoric energetic relaxed rushhh type of high, like i get from combining opana or oxy with xanax, or even suboxone with xanax. Get the best out of my suboxone somehow, gotta get that extra kick haha. Might as well.

That's the general idea of precipitated withdrawal. I still have some curiosity how it actually works since I imagine the bupe would bind to the receptors pretty quickly and relieve the WD from pushing the other opiates off, however people get sick for hours from PWD. My guess is that it is the huge shock of a ton of dope being pushed off your receptors and your body immediately goes into WD mode and takes some time to recover even with the bupe there or the bupe just isn't enough. I have never personally experienced it since I've been careful, and when I would transition I always used very small .1-.3mg doses spaced out and could transition with no PWD and very few WD symptoms at all.

As for the other topic you mentioned, dope and other opiates won't push bupe off your receptors but rather find other receptor sites to attach to and the break through is when there is enough dope able to attach to your receptors that it overpowers the antagonist effects of bupe (this is my assumption about how it works, I know it won't knock bupe off though). Also yes the bupe will still be there and will ease some of the WD if it is before your last dose has worn off, and generally you can get back on bupe quickly. Just do it in tiny .1-.3mg sublingual doses, I'm talking powder or little flakes, and space them out every 10 minutes or so and make sure you are feeling ok before doing more and you wont go into PWD.
 
What are people's experience with suboxone and sex drive? While on maintenance i could go for weeks without even thinking about masturbating or having sex. I even turned down sex and thought of it as a chore to please my lady friend since I hardly had/have any desire. I am back on suboxone maintenance and it is a life saver but I want my sex drive back and want to look forward to sex and be horny like a normal person like I used to be before opiates.

You will almost certainly still feel your dose fairly strong at 4mg, and probably still quite strong at 2mg or less. I know that it sounds like you won't feel the dose that much, but you probably will be pleasantly surprised like I, and many others, were by the effects of low dose bupe.
 
I'm down to about .5 mg Suboxone a day. Thing is- I've been mixing in a day of using $10 worth of diesel here and there (every few days). Do you guys recommend getting low dose oxycodone and switching over to say, 10 mg a day and taper down, and stopping the sub altogether? I'm also planning on getting a good amount of alprazolam or diazapam to help with the mental effects of wd. Should I do the oxy taper or continue sub taper? I feel like switching over to oxy and wd from a tiny dose of that would be easier than completely stopping sub. What do you guys think?

I've used clonodine before and worked great, but I can't get it without going to an outpatient rehab, and it's not worth it right now. Any ideas on how to get clonodine?

Trust me I'm experienced with bupe and I felt this strongly at 2mg per day and that low of a dosing is not effective at stopping cravings and is tricky since you can easily cheat and use other opiates so a higher dose is ideal for me. No matter what dose I take I really only notice a difference in cravings and the same side effects at every dose, so i might as well take more so i'm not tempted/able to use.
 
Heroin Th+Fri Sub Sat to Tues.

Hi,
This is my first thread, but i been doing oc since 2001 i never done more then a big blue a day. Usually 60-80mg a day. when i moved from wi to chi, i used heroin 3 times a week, then sub for wd. i know use on th and fri, no sat, so on monday i wont be in bed all day lethargic and apathetic. but i use very little sub, an 8 mg pill lasts me about 8 days. However, i inhale it, i do it in the morning, and then always in an hour, i am productive, if i dont feel so good, i might take another .5 at around 6 pm. but is using sub the next morning after H makes you have some double WD? and does inhaling it effect your urinary flow, cause i usedto pee 4 times a night but now after i couldnt pee infront of a guy for a piss test,(when my blatter almost exploted) everything back to normal. but i am scared that because i inhale it and back on it, that it will shrink my blatter again, and what are the side effects of shiffing .5mg a day? My russian ass also drinks about 5 beers a day. if i eat a 1/4 8mg sub i wont be able to shut up if my life depended on it. why is there no tablets that are .25 or .5, for someone like me, when i use smack on fridays i dont do more then a bad, and i wont ever bang,

You talking about snorting or smoking?
