LOL - I'm still a fan of some 'ol school MXPX.

Nostalgic reasons of course. The memories some songs conjure up..................... My excuse anyway. :D

and fuck...

i cant wait to see muse do plug in baby, so now that is stuck in my head...

<3

^ Greatest BL name ever. Nobody can eat 50 eggs.

After an awesome Passion Pit gig I came down haaaaard today at work. I really hate my fucking job at the moment and can't wait until I'm moved from Parramatta back to Sydney. Anyway, this is what I always listen to when I've had a really shit day; perfect mix of anger and optimism.

the hives - it won't be long

'Cause I can't find a thing here to get it done
to race my heart and ring my ears
So I won't stick around in this town
And that's true ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

'Cause I won't and I can't and I don't understand
You became what you hate or you hate what you become

Still killing my whole resurrected Morcheeba discography and it hasn't got old yet.

After listening to trance for the last hour...

An old favourite...

Grinspoon - Chemical Heart

Was cool to hear a DnB artist mix the lyrics of this song into a track he played at a NYE festival... whole crowd chanting back the lyrics.

Classic...their best album ever!!!

Fuck yeah man, my favourite album of theirs. One of my favourite bands too, was just listening to 'Pearl Jam - Black'...

But right now I've got 'Pearl Jam - Once' playing.

^ You're a bit of a Pearl Jam fan, hey puckboy?

I've got the JJJ Hip Hop show playing at the moment. A new Mos Def is track is playing now.

Can anyone recommend any Grime or Dub Step artists? There are a few Dizzy songs that I really like and I want to investigate that genre more.

^
Yeah, not just Pearl Jam, used to be a into a heap of grunge bands while I was growing up, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana amongst others. That was the 90s music I liked, then in my later teen years I got into pills n what have you... became heavily into electronic music which I still love to this day also. A broad taste in music is best I find, different music suits different situations, feelings.

^^ Im with ya there Puckboy. Some of the best times in the mid 90's at many of the BDO lineups and i still listen too a lot of that stuff.
Sonic Youth
The Pumkins
Soundgarden
Radio Birdman

and the list goes on....

Like you i have a wide variety of music that i am "into" (heavy and electronic). Just depends on the mood i am in and where the chemical situation in my brain is at
