I've gone a bit music crazy these last few days (I got over my fear of buying things in iTunes) and have Angus & Julia Stone, Temper Trap, Passion Pit, Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros and Vampire Weekend. Right now I'm listening to Vampire Weekend - I Think Ur A Contra

Experimental

Been listening to heaps of experimental 'music'
this year; really, a lot of this stuff it's a push to
call music, more like sound installation stuff.

I find it can be really rewarding if you afford it time.


This is a good cross section
of what I've been hearing-

from dark ambient,
to high-end frequency,
soundscaping,
really, really deep dub,
gentle ambient,
to turntable layering.
