festivals 2010

Anyone know if global gathering is any good? Im considering going there, but i dont wanna waste my money on it if its gonna have shit music/bad atmosphere

All my plans exactly mate, good choices. Getting my glade ticket on payday as they have beeen out for a while. didn't get my glasto ticket but am hoping to get one in re'releases. Last year my mate tryed on a random day and got a ticket even though there weren't any so guna be trying that as well when i remember. Boom is going to be a lot of planning but looks so worth it and mates who have been said it was life changing. Any drugs you want best place to trip, chilled out people and vibes and even places to go if you are having a bad trip where they will look after you. Sounds phat

of the 3 main festivals in Ireland imo it was the best.

@CaptC look into cheap flights and get your self over,it was about 90euro for a wend ticket last year.
im sure some Irish BLer would pick u and your kilo of drone up at the airport lol.

Well its only 2 days long and you ain't allowed to bring any food or booze in with you except a 2 litre bottle of water. don't seem worth £150 odd to me but wud probably be good. i havnt been just what ive been told

GG organizers are money-grabbing Bastards I tell ya

+ the 5 hour entry queue, piss poor organisation, unhelful scary-pervy security, rediculously tight searching/policing....as a festival it was shambles...

PEOPLE/MUSIC WERE AWESOME THOUGH!

This was 2007 so i'm not positive on the current state of affairs, but I def remember feeling a little exploited lol

yeah id say so (followed by electric picnic - although i have never been there.. just read reports, seen videos etc)

its without a doubt one of the most stunning locations for a festival in the world, and if the weather is as nice as last year we are in for another treat

last year, myself, bowser, tryptamine, bogman and loads of others were camping in front of that castle, they were using the actual castle as a projector screen for crazy visuals at night time and the sunsets/sunrises with the valley and lake in the backround were like something from a fairy tale... best weekend of the summer last year, hopefully 2010 is just as good..

i remember the sunrise over the lake/castle on the sat morning after a nite of mdma/2C-D and for breckfast we had hoffmans with a side of more 2C-D,
sitting outside RedArrows/Bowsers tent tripping and the ballons were magic then the sun appered over the lake=mdxx-2cd-lsd-nitros===best time ever.

yeah that was something special man, i dont think i will ever forget the mist hovering above the lake at the bottom of the valley as the huge orange sun was gently rising up behind the castle / trees in the distance..

it was a nice feeling knowing that the weather was going to stay close to 30 degrees all weekend too =D

first time taking 2c-d too and loved it

That's disgusting. It's like a fiver for a burger at festivals, and beer is very expensive compared to taking a few crates.
 
Download has banned gas canisters this year for stoves, because dick heads like to blow them up. Looks like disposable BBQs it is. Anyone who blows up a can of gas in a field full of people should be beaten senseless.
 
I know. Why should a stove be without its fiery juice, just because of idiots? It is unfair.
 
Got a notion to do Rockness and SolFest this year.

Haven't heard if Hydro Connect is happening, it's last few years were my top festival %)
 
Likeing the look of Life-festival. Just had butchers at last years line-up... fuck me sideways.
 
the music was just part of it my friend.
the weather was about the best the last 5 years
the location and setting was brillant
the crowd were brillant=real cool nice people,irish-polish-french-spanish-from all over

met a polish bloke i worked with,told him my mate lost his drugs=he vanished for a minute and returned with 3 trips and refused money.

you could bring your cans down towards the music area.

wend ticket was about 90euro
