Iv thc

I have. It's super duper painful.
:slaps forehead:
Of course, I forgot how much ethanolic disinfectants burn LOL.
Thank you for sharing your painful experience, I could have done it myself one day.

Thats why IPA is used in injectable solutions, could work just as well for an extraction, thought I would still be scared of different crap apart from chlorophyll dissolved in the solution.
This 'experiment' could be done with ice-o-lator/kief I guess, since its just trichomes chrystals.

Still injecting weed outside of a research context is pointless.

Simply SHmoke Dat Shit.

^ Only if you suffer from anxiety (as a rule). I've had strains that contained virtually no CBD and thoroughly enjoyed it

That's why the media are claiming "Skunk" to be evil - Because of the higher amount of THC the plant's levels of CBD drops dramatically.
So for a good smoke if you get all paranoid and such from powerful skunk, get a strain that's not too strong as it will have higher levels of CBD which have great Antipsychotic effects :)

They use different alcohols in benzo' ampoules and vials.

I've had diazepam amp's before and they contains benzyl alcohol, they were Roche, made in Pakistan.

Before someone says they're fake, Roche (And other drug companies) licenses other countries/companies to make their drugs under the Roche brand to sell more. :)

They burnt like hell too!

No it's not.

They just say it is so people wouldn't get wasted on it.

It's metabolized into acetone the same way that ethanol is metabolized into acetaldehyde... I personally consider acetone toxic enough to not want it in my body in substantial amounts.

The amount that you'd be exposed to through injection is probably far too little to have toxic effects, but it's still a good idea (if not just for HR purposes) to not inject IPA.

Acetone is probably less toxic than acetaldehyde... either way, it gets further metabolized into lactic acid and acetic acid, as was discussed in another thread.

Isopropanol being toxic is a myth, kinda like the myth of Amanitas being toxic or deadly...

The only dangerous part about isopropanol is that it's more potent than ethanol, so it's easy to overdose on it...

That's cos some of the amanitas eg A. phallodies, A, virosa are toxic/deadly due to their content of peptide like poisons. Even the non toxic, druggie ones like A. muscaria produce an intoxication that's heavy in bodyload and would feel like being poisoned (had fly agaric twice, dizzy one time & spewed the other time)

But yes it is a myth that isopropanol is toxic, it's just a vile thing to ingest (unless you like breathing out acetone when you exhale)

Phiewh!....I was starting to get paranoid there for a sec.
I've been injecting roughly 10ml IPA-benzo suspensions for almost a year during my brakedown!

Well yeah, I am a little bit dumber now, but i doubt its because of the IPA.

Not really. It's more potent than ethanol, but not that much. IIRC, n-propanol is more potent (and definitely more pleasant).

As I recall, isopropanol is metabolised to acetone faster than ethanol is metabolised to acetaldehyde, which results in higher Cmax, and a shorter intoxication.

butanol definitely had a shorter duration, but I only had n-butanol
