So I figured I'd give CD a chance...mistake. So i come back to my favorite forum. I have a friend who has told me he has figured out how to isolate THC crystals from weed as delta-9-THC. I have very limited knowledge about active metabolites of THC. However i was wondering if it was possible to use a fairly easy reaction to convert the delta-9-THC to 11-hydroxy-THC. I know providing synthesis breaks rules of the forum so I'm mostly interested as to if it's easily possible, what pathway in the CYP450 metabolizes 11-hydroxy-THC, if there are any inhibitors of that pathway (i assume it's 2C9), the potential dangers/benefits of IV administration of THC, and whether or not its the most effective compound to isolate for recreations sake. If there are any other active metabolites info would be apprecitated as I'm more of a chem/pharma guy. Please pharmacological input only. Thanks in advance
