hahha , I must have been typing at the same time as you (Captain_Heroin) cause I didn't see your post ... well , that alcohol/Subutex method is another option I'll be trying as well since it apparentely works quite well for some people in here

Then try 6/7's method of sublingual suboxone + high proof alcohol. That's your best option.

Congratulations on giving up IVing man!

I think that 50% vs. 30% is a pretty decent difference, though I agree the duration is shorter, which I guess may make the methods even out.


6/7's method is the best I tried though. Two thumbs way, way up.
 
Pretty much any strong liquor will work. I usually did it with smirnoff, I think 6/7 did his with rum, so yeah you should be fine.

Remember you only need a tiny bit.
 
maybe like 5? i basically just took a small swig out of the bottle and then held it under my tongue with the pill.

You have to realize though KC, 50% is for snorting buprenorphine, not Suboxone.

Suboxone is 2% buprenorphine. When snorting Suboxone, you're snorting 98% something else, 2% buprenorphine.

If you look at it that way, the snorted BA of Suboxone probably isn't 50%. It's still probably higher than 30% though.

My point being is that it's a very small BA increase, like the increase between oral OC and IV OC.

Just a little bit of liquor. Anything more than 1-2 mL of high proof liquor is overkill.

I haven't ever had a 30ct bottle of Subutex to do a rough average on how much each pill weighs.

If you have an accurate scale, weigh 30 Subutex pills for me.

I weighed a 30ct bottle of Suboxone, and then subtracted the weight of the bottle. Then I divided by 30. The number I got was ~394mg/pill.

Each pill has 8mg of buprenorphine in it.

8/394 = 0.020304568....

Suboxone is 2.0304568% buprenorphine.

I expect Subutex to be a higher %age buprenorphine due to the smaller size.

Wanted to PM this but can;t due di lowly nature :-)

Really don't worry about the confusion here. It seems common on the boards. I remember someone from the UK write that they " had smoked a fag first thing in the morning!", fags being slang for cigarettes.
I admit I was quite chocked when I saw a sign in the US mall stating 'No Fanny-packs', as the word is English slang equtes to female genitalia!!

Was nice to show some concern, I was pretty wobbly when I wrote that post. What did you think 'topping myself meant?

it's more accurate to weigh 30 pills at once with a bottle then subtract the weight of the bottle.

My scale only goes to 0.1g as a minimum anyways, so I need to get an average of a large quantity and divide by how many pills I took the average of. It's much more accurate that way.

A 0.01g scale will be as accurate as a 0.1g scale and 30 of the pills (to do an average).
 
hahaha "Topping yourself and smoking fags" ,have to say I really got my share of english slang this one time I went over to London on holiday and ended up stuck in the Stockwell/Brixton/Whitechapel/Westbourne park areas for like nearly 2 years doing all them great products the west indians and the Benghalis have to offer you... where I discovered that IVing crack was not only a possibility but actually infinitely better and more potent than most cocaine powder out there ,hahah ,remember that first time I tossed one of them yellow-ish tenner rocks on a spoon ,the reaction with water was pretty horrifying "I'm IVing all this effeverscent shit?Like fukk I am" ...hahah enough of this reminiscing gayness which has nothing to do with Sub maintenance yet it's just got me looking outside in a funny way ...

I have a .oo1g scale (mg scale) and just weighed one and one pill is .402grams... so 402mg my scale might be off the 2mg though so it could be exactly 4oomg.

i donno if that helps anyone out. but just figured i'd share.

yeah i gotta get myslef some of those for future use.. ive seen the link you've posted and i think ill buy a few from that source. I also like the idea that Oxymorphone had about all pitching in and buying a bundle of 1000 syringes that have micron filter tips or somethin like that..

And that's cool that your almost done creating that thread.. it'll help a lot of people out.
