Unacceptable side effects?

I used to think that the nausea, vomiting and throwing up were the worst. Well...sice being put on Ritalin..I think I've found several new side effects that are driving me up the wall.
1. What is up with this swollen and horriby sore tonge and lips
horrendus sore throat, and a complete inablilty to swallow. WTF!!!
Im actually thinging of going to a doctor to see if I have tongue cancer. But I'm afraid that he'll figre out how I got these symptoms/

-nausea (alcohol, MDMA, DXM, strong crack etc. makes me vomit almost everytime I use them)
-anxiety/paranoia (usually from stims, or some psychs)
-amnesia (higher dose benzos, z-drugs, alcohol)
-reduced ability to respond to external stimuli appropriately (psychs, 2cx)

diarrhea, heart palpitations (only unnacceptable if it's not a result of me doing too much), sweating like crazy (will never again touch amanita muscaria because of this), bad nausea (low-mid nausea i don't mind,) anxiety (inherent to drug, not from set and setting)

intractable nausea that permeates the experience.
well...it's helped me limit poppy pod use to 1-2 times monthly (in that it's a fine line between 'moderately effective' and 'bllleeeaarrgggg').

Anxiety

Uncomfortable cognitive effects that could lead to anxiety, or rebound anxiety

Basically anxiety.. I absolutely hate it.

I pretty much won't touch anything that isn't manufactured and sold above ground. So Benzos, (prescription) opiates, alcohol and caffeine are my limit.

TD-had that a couple times from my antipsychotics and it is really really awful. eep
Anxiety and jitteryness- ugh nothing is worse than the eye twitch with an anxiety attack, your heart pounding. AHH

Anything that makes me lose control of my thoughts, my actions, or my senses... dissociatives and deliriants come to mind. I like to be in control of myself.

^ Wow, that excludes a very wide range of drugs. Even weed can be habit forming for some people.

I know.
I have been an opiate addict, weed addict, coffee addict, coke abuser(though it was never daily), alcoholic, and psychonaut, at various points of my life.
Up until recently, earlier this month in fact, where I've completely stopped my drug intake and have been sober for a damn long period compared to what I'm used to, a little over 3 weeks.
The habit of always wanting to be high has really got me down lately. It just didn't feel good anymore.
Just me though. Habit forming substances have lead to pretty unacceptable consequences for me.

If I want to talk just purely the physical effects of drugs, though, I would have to say downers like Lorazepam, Valium, Xanax, and an excessive amount of alcohol qualify as unacceptable. I hate feeling sloppy and slow, and I don't like impairing my speech or though patterns willfully. Acid has lead to some pretty bad things for me as well, but that was more of a set and setting issue.

Heart palpitations which I get from amphetamines which then leads to anxiety and panic attacks. Also weed that is super-strong makes me paranioid, whereas I get mellow from other bud and less anxious.

anything permanent

word 2 that! i bunch any kind of fucked-up cardiovascular activity caused by stimulant abuse under the 'potential permanent damage' category, so i don't tend to get spun. also, nausea. i insufflate what i can to avoid it. i've never found paranoia to be a big issue for me, it doesn't take long for reason to kick in and calm me down when i realize i'm being paranoid.

This. Being that fucked up is just scary. Also -

- Moderate to severe anxiety/paranoia - Just not worth the buzz imo. Although if I enjoy a drug enough, I'll use a low dose benzo.

- Ataxia and muscle spasms - I'm not a fan of being unable to walk/random twitching.

- Vomiting/extreme nausea -I generally have a pretty strong stomach but some drugs (really just DXM and LSA) will make me ill for days. :| Never again....
