^Im sure it will in the end man, as long as you try hard enough, which Im sure you are doing.

How you feelin today?

The one thing I love about weed culture is, even though I may have ran out of weed as an every day smoker I still manage to smoke multiple times a day. I just smoked a bowl of cotton candy with hep of cotton candy kief on top.

For sure.. it can also be a curse though when you are trying to take a break!

Manic depressive haha. Short burst of euphoric hope, followed by severe depression when I realize the situation is largely out of my control.

I'm trying to rid of the bad attitude though, and keep doing my best to make things better.

This song perfectly describes my situation.

Agreed. Pretty pathetic.

It's a sad world. The gov'ts are doing fuck all for climate change, we just keep trying to maintain our quality of life and watch the planet burn.

We could have had non-fossil fuel technologies in place years ago. Oil was just too easy though.

denmark essentially has a police state atm (at least in copenhagen)
they've been preemptively targeting peaceful protesters to silence them before they can speak.
they're beating the shit out of very obious peaceful demonstraters.

its fucking sick. i really hope some anarchists get in to show them what for.

I'm about to hop in my car to go buy clementines that were shipped here from Morocco.

And in the summer I'll likely eat a hamburger that was raised in Brazil from the cattle ranching effort down there that is decimating the rainforest; one of the only air filters the planet has.

And later on this year I'll be driving down to FL burning a bunch gas for no other reason that my personal enjoyment.

etc, etc.

^ speaking of climate.... a few posts back i was glad to see you (PS) mention the tar sands project in alberta.

it is the ugliest, most soul-less, selfish, evil, ignorant,..etcetc.... defacing of the planet the likes of no other in history. just to scrape the bottom of our depleting oil supply. dirty fucking oil but oil no less.

the tar sands really breaks my heart like nothing else.

Thanks Ecto; I agree. This part is what gets me really bad:

Both the Minister of Environment and the Prime Minister are from Calgary. Gee, politicians from the oil center don't care about the environment and only care about money? What a surprise. :\ :(

Our government (especially the environmental side of it) is run by people indirectly involved in the oil sands. They are from that area and they very much desire to see the oil sands prosper.

Our government isn't going to do anything for the environment. They want more production, certainly not less.

Just thought of this on the way home:

And later on this year I'll be driving down to FL burning a bunch gas for no other reason that my personal enjoyment

That's still better than taking a plane. The amount of jet fuel those turbines take in and expell into the air is astonishing. Even though a commercial jet carries a lot of people they are horrible polluters; much worse than cars. Driving is still a ton cheaper too; and I can do things on my own terms and not have to deal with airports, transfers, the terrible atmosphere of those places, etc.

I agree with you 100% I'll check out the link to see if it is news, but I keep my eye on what's going on out there so it might not be. ;)

^ What do they do instead tho - the entire global economic system relies entirely upon stable oil prices ?

That's tricker. Accept a lower quality of life? Invest in better energy sources. We're way behind the ball as far as technology goes. We could have fixed this problem long before it ever became one.

^ Haha and the funny thing is the people who want to see the oil sands prosper are the Conservative party (which are in power); they're christian fundamentalists all about "family values".

You would think they'd be thinking of the children wouldn't you 8)
