[LSD Subthread] First time LSD

First time trying acid, two hits

Hey im trying acid in a couple days with some friends at my girlfriends cabin in the columbia Gorge and i just wanted to know if anybody had any tips. Whats fun to do? what has made your experiences great? and i heard sex on acid is aesome, is that true?
 
there are a lot of threads about this already on BL..

i always want some weed on LSD.. strobe lights are cool..! nature is fun - even at night..
i like to take a few minutes out of the hyper activity and just stare into space calmly - the hallucinations can really take hold.. hehehe...
music can be super fun.. even video games if they are cool ones.. ;)

anything that is normally fun can generally be extra fun on acid..! :)

Trying, failing and amusement all become the same action.

Make sure you take some time to just stop and think of nothing though, I'd say both closed and open eyed. Test the spectrum, the bliss of letting everything go and the hectic nature of trying to complete tasks or hold conversations.

All that said, it's always nice to hear when someone's just beginning their journey. We all hope you have a blast, and maintain a presence with us in entheospace (and, of course, Bluelight :) )
 
Someone mentioned drinking alcohol with acid and I just want to say I don't recommend having too much to drink with acid, as last time i tripped i pretty much drank like 9 beers... and was just tripping hard and reeeeeaaaaalllllyyyy had to pee, which sucks when you're having a powerful trip.

my first time tripping was a good way to do it: at home, with experienced trippers, with a yard you can walk around in, and nobody outside who will interfere with your trip. You don't want to have to interact with strangers/parents/sober people. Not fun on your first time especially.
 
First time doing acid, help

Hello;; so tomorrow might be my friends first time and I's doing acid.
What're the tips on it?
We will have a sober friend there with us in case of anything.


But anything we should do, not do, music, lights, food, drinks, anything really.


Can acid be laced with anything?

Hey, Here's our Big & Dandy LSD thread in the first post there's links to first trip tips and set&setting information.

And yes, something sold as LSD can be something else entirely. The drugs known as DOx's are the most common adulterant. They last well over 20 hours.

Here's the Acid in America 2k9 thread, search for the tab you have to see if there are other people who have had experience with it.
 
alcohol does not enhance the trip - it dulls it - weed on the other hand makes it better.. these are facts.. ;)

be aware that it lasts a long time before you will feel normal at all - 12 hours or so.. you will also have a really hard time sleeping at all in those 12 hours..
 
weed may make it better or worse
i wouldn't smoke weed on the trip if you get paranoid etc smoking it normally

just make sure your set and setting is pleasant
food and drink taste so good for me while i'm tripping

listen to music you already enjoy sober - i've found some really dark stuff can lead the trip to weird places though
 
Id say start slow to stay on the safe side, leave the smoking weed for another time or when the trip has significantly decreased to nothing more than a low level hum..
 
i agree with solipsis, i did 2 tabs my 1st time. unfortunatley i didnt get LSD rather a DOx substance, needless to say i spent the next two days thinking that the LSD had damaged me personally. other than that find a nice safe enviroment and if things start to go sour change your clothes, change your scenery. its a perception drug and any change may have an effect on your trip. other than that good luck, fellow psychonaut
 
a room full of other trippers can be a ball if you got the right music and lights

a room full of drunks tripping over themselves is a whole nother realm
 
the party was going to be a roll/trip party so there wouldn't be a ny drunk people or anything but i still want my first time to be with less people.
