People really don't grasp a lot of things I do like shunning Facebook/Twitter/Cellphones and all of the bullshit associated with this thing we now call society.

You're not alone. I have a cell phone but only resort to using it in situations that used to be pay-phone opportunities. Cell phones are the new pacifier, the socially insecure use it as a crutch, god forbid they be seen in public, just shooting the breeze alone? It bothers me when I see a mother or father in public with their child and gabbing on their cell phones and not paying attention to their children.

I like the smell of my own sweat and would rather not wear deodorant for which I get tons of shit from friends so outside the house I do wear it. I hate the smell most of them create when combined with my own body smell. Love the smell of my own skin.

I can't control myself around Garlic Mayonnaise. The tub will be gone within minutes. I'll just sit there dipping bread into it. I love it so much I can't leave it alone.

Also , when I stay calm in the middle of a huge fight or an extremely stressful situation, people think i don't care or I am oblivious to what is going on.....when I am more aware than most know. I just don't like to act out b/c it gets me no where but upset.

I must say that was the most original thing in this whole thread.

I do think deodorant, antiperspirant, perfume and stuff like that is overrated though. People smell, that's life. It's like most people have a silent agreement saying that's a bad thing.

Some people smell good, some smell bad, but most people just... smell.

one thing that I do that my friends have lately taken to arms against me is when I am chewing gum and I feel like saving the piece of gum while I do something else with my mouth, I will set it on a napkin or something as equally clean. fast forward two minutes later and I will put the piece of gum back in my mouth. I guess this isn't the most appetizing thing in the world, but is it really that bad?

The napkin could dry the gum out. When I save gum for later I usually put it in a bottlecap (if I have a drink).

At raves I used to take gum I was chewing out of my mouth and stick it to my rave candy bracelet for later whenever I wanted to smoke a cigarette. So I didn't have to throw the gum away.

I don't cover my mouth when I sneeze or cough when I AM AT HOME. Plus the volume in which I do both. I do not direct either in your face.

I do this too! I love pickles.

I also enjoy sucking on the lemon quarters that get served with drinks in restaurants. I hate lemon in drinks but by itself it's sour and delicious.

When i opt for the salad over the chips. I copped so much shit for that the first few times after I decided a healthy change was in order. Now it seems my idea has caught on, and about 5 people who were ripping on me have decided I have a point.

I quit drinking too, nobody I know understands that.

I also hate cake, but I'll eat cupcakes. Biscuits are also out of the question. So is sweet food, even when I was completely unhealthy I still wouldn't eat any lollies or crap like that, I hate things that are too sweet. That's probably the main thing people don't get, I have to explain it a lot at birthdays etc.

True. I always felt it was so unhygenic the way lemons are used at the bar - some I have worked at use tongs but at most they just expect the bartenders to squeeze and drop them into drinks using their dirty money hands.
