Moving out of home on Saturday, 4 years of waiting has finally come to fruition. Headin out west side of Melbourne though, so i need to fork out some cash for a good security system for my car.

Might get the oxy welder out and make some crude steel tube batons, or buy a kitana. The thought of someone invading my personal property infuriates me, so i'll be armed if i hear the alarm going berserk at 3am.
 
^^ lol that's pretty intense, I lived there for 2 years and and only had to pull the metal bar from under the bed once.

Am smiling today as I met a fellow rainbow atendee at a camping shop and I got a discount on a tent and a few other things. Can't wait to explore the universe and debate beliefs with crazy old hippies!!! :D

Would be cool to meet a fellow bluelighter too :D
 
I am glad in Australia we use cane sugar in our soft drinks instead of corn syrup, it tastes so much nicer, particularly in coke. I am also enjoying the windy weather we've been having lately. I just enjoy it for some reason, as long as I'm not wearing sticky lipgloss.
 
In this hot weather lately, I've altogether stopped drinking anything with sugar in it during the day to quench my thirst. Too much sugar juts dries you out.

How good is fresh water.
 
I found a creek once whilst backcountry snowboarding a few years ago. Having run out of water, i deemed it to be safe and drank some and my god, it was like nothing i've ever tasted before.

Pure heaven.

I think i've had about 3 sugary drinks in almost 5 months? I drink coffee in the morning, but only drink water now, really. I love fresh, filtered water. We have a water purifier at home, and dear god that water is thrist-quenching.
 
I finally become free tomorrow, moving out of home.

Oh how i can't wait. Bring on the bills, the untidy room, the empty fridge, the priority of beer over food.

I can't wait.
 
No shit, thats what i was getting at. I'm actually looking forward to paying bills over living with parents.

Giving the garage a spring clean and getting the camping gear tidied up, early preparations for Rainbow, now that makes me smile!
 
xmas party last night, was only meant to get a welcome drink and a drink with your dinner for free... I didn't pay for a drink all night, people just kept giving me vouchers.. Top night all round, if people didnt know I dont mind a jaunt on the dance floor they do now :)
 
I forced myself to the gym this morning and man was it so.fucking.hard after 9 days of not going, and i now feel FANTASTICO! That's right, fanbloodytastico!

I love the gym, i love feeling fit and i love being healthy!

Those endorphins are good shit and they're easy to score so get on it! =D
 
i got out into the surf this afternoon

i cant remember the last time i went for an afternoon surf...

was just good being out in the water even though the waves were all that crash hot...
 
I received my "bluelight X-mas CD swap" cd yesterday; not opening it until X-Mas but it was a nice suprise :D

(to the mysterious recipient of belarki's mix: don't panic, it hasn't been sent yet as I am the high-king of procrastination, but should be posted this weekend :) )

Some stupid hippy has been camping on one of my worksites for about 2 weeks now. It's a smallish public bush reserve and there is no way in hell camping will ever be allowed in it. Found his tent complete with acoustic guitar about 2 weeks ago then forgot about it. Worked there again today and the jerk is still there and there's beer bottles and shit strewn around the tent.

He has also strung beer bottles up around his camp site from trees with rocks in them, I can only assume as some sort of warning of people screwing with him. So a colleague and I to check if he was in the tent cut some down today and threw them at the tent and he yelled out "Fuck off you fucking idiot!"

So then we called the rangers waited about half an hour and the hardcorest, doucherino ranger we like to call "Mr Sneaky" showed up. The way he is with incorrectly parked cars there's no way the stupid hippy didn't get fined.

Tent was still there this arvo so I assume he was given 24 hours to move on.

Anyway this makes me smile because I've put a lot of hard work into the reserve and it pisses me off some cunt is hanging out there messing it up when there's a cheap arse hostel a couple of hundred metres away, and he didn't seem to have much trouble affording a new surf board.

I'm actually really surprised a resident hasn't complained about his camp yet.
