Wanting to try meth

At this very point in time, I'm actually watching my current mates (that I dont hang with too much these days) go right down hill over Meth. No joke, I was with some mates last night that I havnt seen in 3 or 4 weeks. And last time I was with them - we were all on the meth that day and night and was a pretty big bender.

I stayed home for 4 weeks with my gf and chilled out at home (you know...cute shit lol) and I just catched up last night with my mates and within that short period of time. They are BAD. And I mean bad. Couldnt believe how quickly it can destroy people. Like they are REALLY depending on the shit now which is really bad. I couldnt believe it.

I was gonna get on it last night funny enough. Our source couldnt pull thru and lucky he didnt lol. I was only gonna have a small toke or two. Nothing hectic really cause it was a sunday night. Just a toke to try the gear really but im glad we didnt get any.
 
i have read a few of these posts, and they are interesting, but it has left me with a couple of Qs

don't mean to hijack the thread but:

i am pretty sure it is well established that when you buy speed in aus it is, for all intensive purposes, always methamphetamine (as opposed to amphetamine)

does that mean that if i buy speed, i buy meth? (i think the term ice is used here as well, but that's not entirely correct, because ice is meant to be 4-Mxx or something like that.)

i have a feeling the answer is no, is that because there are different isomers?

is that what d,l-amp is? it's methamphetamine, but a different isomer, so it is not classed as what 'meth' is on the street?

what i have been told, which i am not sure is correct, is that speed in aus is the same chemical as meth/ice/crystal, so: methamphetamine, but just not as pure/potent/strong etc.

clarification?

cos what i am comparing here is smoking australian speed and smoking 'meth'. is it the same thing like the exact same chemical, but just one is much more potent?
 
It's impossible to tell what chemical is what and how potent it is over the internet... but if it looks like meth, acts like meth, chances are, its meth.


smoke it and enjoy it. never heard of meth coming in the form of a 'rock' before
 
When I tried it a few times, like above posters said, I would stay up all night redosing and redosing. It can be addicting after the first hit you take imo. I would be up at sunrise and me n' my friends would be doing "projects" to focus our energy towards. However, these projects consisted of random ass drawings and just talking. I don't think anybody actually knew what IT was we were trying to accomplish lol. If you've tried other amps b4 or stimulants and haven't found them to be addicting i'd say you might be ok to try it without a problem but there is always a very real chance you might be heading straight towards a disaster.

Speed is meth in Australia. The only difference between 'speed' and meth is that speed is usually cut more, and usually comes in powdered form, but now that people are cutting meth with msm or other smokable cutters that crystalise, even stuff sold in crystals as 'ice' can be more cut than 'speed'. But it's all the same drug.
 
^ Pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as Australia is concerned. Basically "meth" or "ice" is just methamphetamine that has been recrystallised enough times to form shards and it is very pure. It is still possible to cut the shards which is most commonly done with msm.

Well made "speed" can be of nearly as high of a purity as clean shards and the only difference is a few recrystallisations. The thing is that as it is more powdered there are a lot more things you can cut it with. Also the fact that it is much cheaper than ice and people usually use ice first dealers can get away with it being more impure.

It is entirely possible to get a batch of speed and a batch of ice and the speed be higher purity than the ice but it is not the norm.

Here in NZ, "speed" usually refers to regular amphetamines in powdered form, rather than methamphetamine. I have heard of ways that people can cut crystal meth and still keep it in a clear crystal form... I guess it pays to know the people you're getting it from, or even better, get it straight from cooks who don't cut the product! ;)

No it is not, no one should recommend meth, meth might be fun once and a while but the truth is most users here have no self control.

If you can't go a month with zero drugs then you shouldn't try meth, it will ruin you much like heroin or cocaine would.

It is far too addictive to even try once.
 
...great I got on the shards last night again lol. Im still "climbing the walls" as I speak right now. After a 3 week break I somehow managed to get on it.

Heres a perfect example folks. I wasnt craving it or anything, not mentally or physically but when its around you and your mates. You will wanna do it. Basically everyone in our group and I mean we could have upto 10-15 people at a night out and were all on it. Its hard to say 'no'. Especially when you have had a few drinks and relaxed and your thinking "fuck why not. It will keep me awake anyways....just a cute little toke" and then that first rush it gives you and your off your head. Wanting more.

Like what the slogan says for it. "It only takes one try" and you'll be craving it all night long.

Can I just say I heart you. Thank you for being the person standing on the other side who can without a doubt tell the OP who isn't hooked how completely, and utterly useless it becomes when you NEED it to function. I'm the same with H, and it still boggles my mind when I see people condoning something that's almost inevitably a bloody fucking car-crash... when they have all but destroyed their lives themselves. Misery needs company, am I right?
 
after 2 decades of drug and alcohol abuse...if you ave not yet picked up a drug then don't.meth will take u places u never thought u would go...once my friend and i realized that it had been "Wednesday for a week"...true story-should appear in an epic post-although those of u who know me know me,my musings tend to go on forever-i am working hard on it to get the maximum knowledge and experience through to as many people as possible w/o scaring them away bu its lenght.

if you haven't tried it...do your best to not pick it up....and that goes for ALL drugs.at 33 i am mastering the art of self control-i use certain drugs,the drugs do not use me.
regardless of your decision i hope you are dealing w people you know and are not trying new drugs alone.make sure you are with at least w 1 friend-i been witness to too many overdoses from too many friends who,if they would have just called,i could have been there.
weight your options and remember-it's your life,and this round only gives you one.

That aside, you're a fucking dolt. Clearly worse? So long as you have money and a solid connection (which only partially applies to meth) you can keep your job/appetite/sleep habits etc. on heroin. I don't know one meth user out there who has been able to binge out and not lose jobs/teeth/relationships/appetite. Please, dear god please explain how heroin is worse then meth? I'm not saying it isn't fucked up, it's fucked up beyond belief, but you stating "clearly know it's WORST then meth" is goddamned nauseating. Are you really that asinine?

It is to a lot of people, I don't think he is asinine by speaking the truth from the way he sees it. Sure you don't have to agree, but you don't have to attack him because of it.

At the end of the day recommending any hard drugs is a terrible thing to do. People are just looking for someone to justify their decision to them. The only people who are going to do this are the ones who are still in their honey moon with the said drug, or are the 1/1000 people who can use said drugs responsibly.

Op, if you want to try it try it. No one is going to give you a single good reason why you should try it though, as chances are it will destroy your life.

Maybe you misunderstood...
Im clearly stating that BOTH drugs are not good for you. They are bad in their own ways and both have a lot of cons that may outweigh the positives about either one of them.

Heroin is bad in its own way. Maybe not for the exact same reasons as Meth. You cant really compare the two drugs because both are COMPLETELY different from each other. They are among the hardest drugs you can do.

I cant comment too much on Heroin because I havnt tried it and only know the basics of it and what it can do. I have also seen several different graphs that list every drug on it and guess what is the highest level of most dangerous? Its Heroin.
 
^^ That post makes more sense, but in the first one you did say heroin is clearly worse than meth. Like you said in your next post, you can't necessarily compare the two because they are different, and people are different too.
Personally, I have used heroin for years without becoming addicted or experiencing any negative effects, while meth grabbed me straight away and I have struggled with it for over 6 years now. Heroin is at least nowhere near as neurotoxic as meth.
 
Heroin is far more likely to kill you though, pros and cons, both have massive cons, they are just different which I think we have all agreed on.

do me a favor though and name me any other mainstream drug that is as pure an evil.
