Mephedrone Megathread VI: Anyone Seen My Heartvalves?

I get this all the time. It's especially bad if you happen to be drunk as well, as you don't even notice yourself doing it... then suddenly you have to deal with the consequences of confusing your cheeks for a chewtoy
 
I've never got particularly bad ulcers from meph, i'm a lucky one :)

Sancho after a binge i've had really raw lungs with a bad cough for a few days, nothing on your level though, hope it picks up soon
 
I'm hoping it's just the bronchitis but I've obviously questioned whether it's the meph, as you do.

It's probably just a coincidence but I thought I'd ask anyhow. I'm not really suffering from it but it is annoying after a session at the gym.

I've got asthma and never had any problems on meph. 5 grams in 3 weeks is the complete sum of my history though, so I can't say if it would have an affect after chronic use.
 
Well that was fun while it lasted, didn't do more than 500mg.

My extra bits after work elicted some brightning of light and slight eye wobbles. But when i got home to go to sleep I had to wear socks and gloves in bed. The Vasoconstriction I would imagine caused this cold hands and feet effect.

Also got cramps in my fingers and toe's when trying to fall asleep.


This morning woke up with a cracking headache, a cpl of paracetamol sorted that. Must get some food in me as I didn't eat anything yesturday.

Rest of the lot fed to loo. I for one will not be repeating this little experiment.

For the vasoconstriction side of things buy yourself some AAKG powder (arganine) and some good quality fish oil. A few grams of each just before your meph session should help. Always keep hydrated too, and I always have a bottle of poppers handy just incase.

More than likely your headache is nothing more than dehydration, swap the morning paracetamol for a night time pint of water before bed

Why take something with so many side effects, I know i could ease some of them. But having to take a load of something else to combat side effects makes this a poor drug.

I did drink a pint a water before bed. Also cronic guts this morning churning and increased bowel sounds and some slight runs.

^ Ive been taking mephedrone for several weeks sometimes 3 times in a week and have had absolutly no issues at all with it. I guess Im one of the lucky ones. And the supplements I recomended are good for your overall health not just for drug use.

Lucky for you, though the speculated heart value damage from its metabolites kinda turns me off a little.

But people will live in denial and think this is a wonder drug. Addiction is a real issue and there is a case of someone on here who reckons it caused them heart damage.

Even yesturday the desire to re-dose was silly. I would hate to think what addiction to this would be like.


I would much prefer MDMA/MDA as the risks are known.

Poppers will dilate your blood vessels, albeit for a short time.

Also that fucking meph smell, its on my hands and won't go away urgggh.
 
Nothing personal to you deko - but what is it about meph that gets everybody all self-righteous and up on their high horse shouting out about it?? 8)

Tell you what, go and check out the 'have you ever OD'd?' thread and start harrassing all of them for taking all those substances that are putting them in comas. I don't give a crap how 'clean' many of these preferred drugs are, people are ODing all over the place on them...

If meph isn't for you it isn't for you. Fairymuff.
 
My friend told me something last night about their friend (an acquaintance of mine) who has been caning the meph a fair bit (maybe 3-4 times a week for quite sometime). Apparently he became really ill, couldn't stop throwing up, real bad stomach cramps etc. Ended up going to the doctors where they said he had dangerously high levels of potassium in his blood.....Now, this is just what i've heard from my friend, what are peoples thoughts on this? I dunno if some one is yanking her chain because potassium and plant food?.....
 
Well time has already told about Heroin and Cocaine and the amount of people dying on them - so go and harrass them ;)

I'm not saying that this substance is safe and harmless, it certainly isn't. But it does seem to bring out the judgmental side of many people who have shoved some very questionable things into their bodies...I'm just wondering why it is in particular the whipping-boy at the moment.

Personally, I think it's a bit of the "it's too mainstream" phenomenon going on. Just a bit...

p.s. if anybody smokes or eats kebabs three times a week they have even less of a reason to grandstand.

I think it's hard to take what a 'friend of a friend' said to anybody too seriously...

Although it is interesting because high levels of potassium are apparently manifested most commonly as irregular heart-beat and arrythmia.
