GBL Megathread 4: End of an Era?

They'll have fucked it up, even though its taken them 5 years to knock up the right wording.
Anyway I'm fat and keep thinking about the hell I will have to do down the gym soon. And the amended diet. And having to clear out my horrendous flat.
Trying not to be suicidal about it all currently. Not helping that I can't buy a fucking thing of any real use.
Fucked up last week, with missed appointments. No answering phones, door etc.
Won't ever be able to take proper stimulants again without it.

And to top it all off the most used sauce will no doubt give up the details of customers without too much duress to the law. And that is the end for us all:|
 
Just order it from abroad. It's not hard. The worst you'll get is a letter.
 
I suppose, but people don't get arrested for ordering benzos, do they?
 
LOL, yall can keep on ordering it still takes a while before they make it illegal in holland, and they send to the UK.
 
still itching like crazy- now day 2 since taking gbl on monday. i found some loratadine in the house for hayfever and allergies and i'm waiting for it to take effect.

if gbl has an antihistamine effect for one day then how come two days later the weird itch is still rebounding? this has really put me off this drug as its beggining to look like i have been stung by nettles and the original doses were on monday and now its wednesday.
massively unpleasant. good thing i dont have work today, but i do tomorro. i hope its calmed down.

That's pretty weird. It sounds like something else is causing the itch. I've never heard of G doing that.

i look fine until i scratch and then it goes in heat bumps-its certainly put me off the G as i loved the high massively but two days of itching is very annoying, it looks like i have crabs/worms to the casual observer.

must be an extreme idiosyncratic response:\

EDIT: i have been taking amoxcillin for a tooth infection and although i had almost finished the course and i had it a month ago with no bad effects this itching and rash (wiki) are a side effect-phew

Second day of itchiness for me too. Bizarre. Never happened before, not a new bottle - same one I've had for a coupla weeks now - and second day I've woken up itching like crazy. Have been using more than usual recently but with it being so short-acting I can't see it would be building up itchiness enough to last two days. Took 4mg of chlorphenamine maleate yesterday and it stopped the itchiez until I woke up earlier. Think I'm going to have to do the same again cos it's really bloody annoying :|
 
No other changes I can think of, Tex. It feels just like a histamine reaction from taking too much codeine. As I said, the amount I'm using in a day has increased over the last week or so and is pretty high at the moment. Not having trouble sleeping or feeling shitty when I wake up (hopefully a good sign for any possible imminent w/d) but the last two days I've woken up itching like crazy.

May well be something coincidental, of course. Even more coincidental that Poface is having the same thing happen and it started at the same time. Maybe we iz Freaky G Twinz 8o8o8o
 
Good idea that, Tex. I could quite see that I may have picked up a bug of some description and am not really noticing it cos of all the dro0gz. Used (slightly) less G yesterday than the day before and will try to keep it on a downward trend. Not just cos of the itchiez but cos it's a shame to waste so much when it's not gonna be around much longer. Now to got find my willpower - sure I left it around here somewhere :D

I also get very itchy using gbl. I get it for extended periods of time often resulting in my legs having scratches all over them and bleeding a lot. Nice. Just ordered another litre so I'll look forward to that. I wonder if any of the magic will be back after 1 month not using.

ewww, that is pretty dirty. I found that after a 4 month break the magic was somewhat back but soon returned to the normal state of messyness.
 
I also itch after taking gbl.

I have a salicylate intolerance (salicylates are found in many food stuffs including fruit and veg and also in many toiletries, deodorants, shampoos etc.) Everyone has different levels of salicylate tolerance, some can't tolerate any or very little, most people are very tolerant to it. Most of the time I'm fine but if I have too much I get irritated, weepy eyes and itchy skin.

Ingested salicylic acid is metabolised in the liver and I find that after my liver has taken a bashing with gbl it doesn't process salicylic acid well and the itching starts.

A good way of neutralizing an acidic body is to eat alkalizing foods, for me it has to be ones that are low in salicylates. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is alkalizing to the body (even though it's an acid) so I drink that every day.

A quick fix when it's really bad is a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate dissolved in water. It doesn't taste very nice and it can shoot your blood pressure up if you over do it but it works for me.

Milk thistle is good for improving liver function. I also take calcium and magnesium supplements every day as they are alkalizing minerals.

Aspirin is salicylic acid so I avoid that as well.

Does anyone know whether it would just be illegal to use as a drug or that its also illegal to sell as a cleaner? Maybe sites could still sell it online?

I also read that they are also making a law in the netherlands so only companies can order GBL and no normal customers.
Well it may still be possible to order from poland or something, so i dont beleive it will be the end of an era.<3 I really hope so....
