Hey guys, I'd like some input.
I'm 6'1'' and a pretty steady 167lbs, and I have never really been able to gain weight.
And I think the problem is how much I eat. I see the recommendations you guys post- stuff like 8eggs and 1 cup of oatmeal for breakfast. 2 chicken breasts and some rice for lunch. And I just can't eat that much- or should I say, I can and do, but after 8 eggs I can eat a snack at night and go to bed happy. Or I'll cook up some risotto and eat it with a whole chicken breast, and I'll be set till the next day.
I'm 24 now, and there was one time I gained a lot of muscle- when I was sent to a millitary boarding school when I was a highschool freshman. With unlimited access to pre cooked food and at least 100 pushups along with an hour PT sesh's worth of punishment every day I hit 180lbs. But that all disappeared two months into summer vacation.
I don't have a problem working out, I have the discipline for that, but even working out every other day and throwing cardio in between doesn't seem to stimulate my appetite. I'm somewhat toned and defined from years of effort, but I have never been able to eat like I would need to in order to gain that weight.
Did you all start off being able to eat so much? Did you invent some sort of system to make it easier? And how do spend the time to cook that much food?
Thanks for readin, hope you have some info. At this point, I don't feel like I NEED to get bigger, I'm fine with staying trim, so don't feel like you gotta solve my 'problem'... Im interested in how you manage as much as in your advice to me about my own situation. Also, weed doesn't stimulate my appetite.
