Okay, I just looked it up on Wiki, and it says that it's supposed to be a real horror film AND a dark comedy... I don't see how a movie can be both. I guess this movie is the result of what happens if you try to do so.... Every time you get tense because something scary is going on, right before you actually get scared, they throw in something stupid that just made you laugh an totally ruined the mood. Blah.

I saw the UK trailer for the first time the other day and I was suckered in again. I'm-ma-goin'-to-the-cinema to see it. :D
 
I've watched it, and i must say the lesbian scene with Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfield (I think, not too sure on spelling) is possibly one of the hottest things ever. It's a really good film. I would advise anyone to watch it.

very hot scene...i was aroused. as for the rest of the movie, it's kinda shit. i also believe that megan fox overexposed herself in this movie. nothing left for her to do but porn really.:)
 
naysayers! I thought it was pretty good actually. The cameos were awesome. A very smart teenage comedy/horror flick. Almost a cult classic in my books. Almost.
 
I fell in love with this movie. for fans of horror parody/satirized B movies - this is a must see!

much like any guy with a thing for brunettes, I think Megan Fox is super fine. she was hilarious in this movie, and much props to Diablo Cody for coming up with about twenty new ridiculous teenage slang words that I'm sure are now being assimilated into high schools near you (seriously: "salty"?).

Amanda Seyfreid was one of the gems of this movie, as was one of my personal faves JK Simmons. Adam Brody was in this movie and I didn't want to chop his head off, actually, he was quite funny.

I lost it about the segment with the indie band. it was true and hilarious.

also, I have a couple of the exact occult books shown in the movie. I paused the movie and compared them and nearly shit bricks.
 
So, as it turns out I really enjoyed it. I would give it a 3½ but since our rating system doesn't permit halves, I went with a 3. It did feature some of Diablo Cody's trademark cringe-worthy dialogue, and over all it was silly, but I don't think we were ever supposed to take it seriously in the first place. Highly entertaining. And yes, 'that scene' was hot. :D
