LOL - i was imagining if you were getting ready to shoot up and your nice syringe full of goodies suddenly rolled over and fell on the tile floor - whoops!!! or you fumbled and accidently dropped it 
that said my grandmother actually had one of these glass syringes and used to use it to inject her allergy meds in her thigh. she even had one of those things where you could lock it back and then hit a button and it would stick the needle in - kind of like the things you use to stick your fingers to test blood sugar - but it was built in... i wonder what happened to it after she died... it was pretty small and she only used sterile meds in glass vials and i don't remember her cleaning it ever - and she used the same needles over and over... she had a lot of bruises on her legs though... and she always used it on the bed just in case she dropped it...
