the official 2010 NFL thread!

I doubt it. There's a reason he was only signed to a one-year deal. He knows he has to tone it down, lay low, and start producing or nobody will want to touch him when his contract is up. Why do you think he went to a quiet out-of-the-spotlight team like Buffalo?

LOl because any decent team with playoff aspirations wouldn't be dumb enough to sabotage their own locker room like that. He's pure poison. When it's happened in three different places, it's hard to defend him.

What I'm getting at...Buffalo really has nothing to lose I guess :D

I guess we'll see. When I consider what will affect the success or lack of success for the Bills this year, though, TO isn't even in the top 3.

Poor Polamalu...the Madden Curse is inevitable. Larry Fitz...the clock is ticking.

Who Dat!

Saints are about to start up against Detroit. Should be interesting...

I know, right! it was even more heartbreaking because at halftime I think Al Michaels said "is it possible for one player (Polamalu) to earn a spot on the Pro Bowl halfway through the first game?" at least he will be back in four or so weeks. the best thing about the Steelers defense, is that it is a well-oiled machine. Polamalu's absentia will mean less interceptions, though.

Steelers are one victory closer to #7. =D

it's still very early, and injuries can happen - but the Titans are a very good football team and the Steelers proved to be better. 7 Lombardi trophies would be unreal, though!

LOL@ Jets and Bills. TO will have that latter team in shambles within 8 weeks having Trent Edwards sitting in the parking lot of Ralph Wilson Stadium, crying with a pistol in his own mouth.

naw, like I said earlier - if history is any indication, T. O. usually waits at least a year to open his pandora's box in his team locker room.

And Axl...wouldn't last season qualify as Aaron Rodgers' "breakout season"? :) He should have big numbers pending his health.

he was good last year, but not overtly impressive. this should be his year. he is looking solid.

Steelers won 13-10, didnt get to see most of the game cuz i was working
sunday 1 PM BABY
Go Jets!! lets start this season right!

Jets are looking better than I predicted - and what about them Cleveland Browns? they are playing the Minnesota Vikings very tough. Favre looks pretty impotent, but the combo of Percy Harvin, Chester Taylor, and Adrian Peterson will be giving defenses fits all season.

as for work, I actually just started to request off all Sundays for the fall fiscal quarter. I am telling my job that I have to take a class all day Sunday. which is a lie. but as you all know I am an addict and it interferes with my job/

great games all around today, the only major surprise for me was San Fran beating Arizona. I guess people were right this entire offseason in saying that the 49ers were going to be greatly improved. and it looks like history is is repeating itself, in the fact that the SB losers often perform poorly the next year.

halftime for the Chicago "RIP Grossman" Bears VS the Green Bay "Preseason Champions" Packers. with the hype machine in full force, I expected this to be a game of two QB gunslingers - but to be honest neither Jay Cutler or Aaron Rodgers have impressed me too much. Jay Cutler is reverting back to his erratic, uncontrollable self who couldn't lead a high school team and Aaron Rodgers is posting Rex Grossman numbers. sure, they both have cannons for arms but I think that they have a long way to go before becoming above average NFL QBs.

the real story here tonight are the two defenses. lots of interceptions, sacks, and hits on the QBs.

i cant believe i missed all the games today bc of fucking work, the one day i agree to work a sunday night, never again!!

anyways i heard that the Jets played great which is what i like to hear, and that the Dolphins got dominated!! i lol'd, im such a bad floridian :)

hopefully i dont miss the next game or im gonna start murdering people...Swerz first

Giants #1!!!! Giants are where it's at.. Fuck the Jets <3

The Dolphins game was terrible.. the only highlight of that game was when that guy caught the ball with his legs and ass.. that was it :\
