dogs. I used to detest cats until a few years ago. I like them a lot more now. But they still seem way too haughty and stuck up for my tastes. Dogs are friendlier, albeit dumb at times.
I simply cannot decide which one I prefer. Plain and simple. I love both equally.
My cats are super-affectionate, soft, clean, playful, and somehow my kitties always seem to know when we're on drugs, they act especially adorable (How do they do that?!)
My dog is smart, loyal, emotive, tough, playful and kind-hearted. My dog is my baby, I would do anything for him
Other cats and dogs in general are also equal in my eyes. They all have their loveable traits and they are all special souls, as individuals.
My cats all have their own personalities too. In fact, all the kitties I've ever met (which would be well over 150 cats) have their own individual personalities. I guess it's just the fact that some cats are aloof or shy at first so they can act very guarded. Therefore you won't get to "know" them until you've met them at least half a dozen times.
In fact, some of the biggest cunts of animals I've ever met have been dogs (and I've met probably over 200 dogs). 99.9% of the time though, it's the owner's fault, not the dog's.
Having 3 cats in our household, I can vouch for this
:D
I challenge ANYONE who claims to not like cats, to meet my cat Smoodge. He is THE MOST affectionate, adorable animal I have ever met. He has converted exactly 5 complete and utter cat-HATERS in to liking cats. He will always win your heart over
cats without a doubt. they are beautiful, elegant animals with a distinct personality; i love their arrogance . i'm not a fan of dogs at all. i've feared them as a child and have after years of work come to tolerate them as long as there is 2 metres between me and the dog. a dog that wants to play with me still makes me a little uneasy.
cats ftw, I love both, but only if the dog has been trained by me or somebody I know, so many people fuck their dogs training up, also even the smartest dogs (and I own one of the smartest dogs I've met) is stupid compared to even the dullest cat, that said you can play with a dog alot better and you can take them for walks (which honestly i wish i did more)
gosh, i both so much, and wouldn't want to live without either. both have strong points; i love the loyalty of my dog, and appreciate the peaceful but curious cat traits as well. if i was limited to owning just one, i guess it would depend on the living situation. i'm lucky to have a huge yard, decent sized house and quiet neighborhood that makes it easy to give my dog an active life. and i'm an active-dog kinda person, so i wouldn't want to own a dog if i was forced to live in a small apartment in a city. so if it came down to only being allowed one pet in a jail cell, i'd prolly pick a cat, but one pet on a farm would be a dog. or a horsedogcat.
I have a cat, but I am not biased against dogs. Cats are independent and low-maintenance and that suits my current lifestyle/living arrangement. But I like em' both.
DOGS!!! THe only best friend a cat has is a nasty litter box. Which starts smelling like shit way too quickly. Hairballs, sharpening claws on the furniture(yah ok if you declaw them but then they're defenseless)
I've just come across one too many 'bitchy' cats. Sassy, whatever cute little word you wanna try to categorize it as to make it sound not so bad.
LIke bouncers, cops, etc there are a few good ones(kitties) in the mix, but the majority of pooches are badass vs. not so many cats
CANINEs
All this cats are low maintenance talk=lazy owners :D
I like to interact with my dog!! Not just put food/water out, clean the litter box once every 2 weeks(gross)
i used to be like you Kstoner..
i remember back in the day i hated them because i thought they were all little bitches..
but then i got a kitten and it completely changed my thoughts about them.
its a hard decision to favour just one of the two.....
