Wow, lol. I used the same blender for over a year. It was the cheapest blender I could find at Walmart, it was only like $15. I used the damn thing probably on average every other day. I always was waiting for the day when I would press the button and the damn thing would quit on me but it never gave out.

Over time it has started to make excess noises and occasionally if I overload it the blades won't spin at first and it'll make a funny noise. Recently it started to have a "overheating" smell when I operate it but the damn thing has never stopped going. I've been sure for the past couple of months I was gonna need a new one...

Sorry to hear about the grinder/blender problems guys, maybe you need Walmart quality, lol.

Try using some lemon juice, that will make it allot stronger. You can make it even stronger by adding Mt dew to the mixture after the water is done boiling. I wouldn't do both at the same time but both methods boost the high by like 40%-60% ITS GREAT.

What is the rationale behind using mountain dew while brewing the tea? 40-60% boost sounds a bit weird to me.

I don't know much about the subject. But it seems it is possible that you can buy seeds and grow poppies, which you can get high off. is this true? Legal? Where can you buy the seeds? can you just buy the pods online? etc.

You can buy the seeds and pods from poppy vendors.

Ya know I really don't understand how people complain about the taste of the tea, saying its "the most disguisting shit ever". I was really nervous about having to drink all this shit, but I could easily slam 4 cup fulls of water down no problem.

Anyway, how many times does everyone filter the pods? I'm only doing 2 passes, but does anyone find it even necessary to do more?

And also, is it just me or are pods the most fucking constipating out of all other opiates out there? This could be a MAJOR drawback.

when i used pods, i just did 1 filter through cheesecloth, doubled over.

and it was the most constipating opiate i have ever taken, by far. i had to drink milk of magnesia every day just to have one almost-bearable BM every week or so.

First of all, if you eat the grounds instead of making tea, or just drink the grounds in the tea, you will get a lot of fiber which helps with this issue. Second, take a good dose of Metamucil or other fiber source every night. The wife and I take Metamucil and chia seeds every night and we've never been healthier digestive-wise in our entire lives. This is AFTER my wife developed hemorrhoids from the tea WITHOUT fiber/chia. Trust me... fiber supplement plus chia seeds nightly and everything will be nice and smooth =)

Many people are really cautious of not letting the water boil during their tea making process, but personally I've found possible loss to be negligible or even nonexistant. Sometimes a tea boiled hard for 20 mins have seemed even slightly stronger.

My personal opinion (whatever thats worth 8) ) is that boiling probably helps in extracting some of the goodies and can't hurt as far as killing bacteria and that sort of thing.

It depends on the pods, for one thing. The first time I brewed poppy tea I made a pretty weak brew and got mild - moderately high off of it. I was pretty surprised by how easy it was to pound the tea down, I had been expecting much worse.

Fast forward down the road one year, and the brews that I drink taste MUCH worse now. The flavor is certainly not pleasant and I am not sure that I could drink them if I didn't dump in some sugar to take the edge off that bitter nastiness The primary reason for the brews tasting worse is because over the years I have found stronger pods and the tea that these produce is much more powerful by weight than the pods I tried the first time (and continued to use for months). The pod tea that I used to drink was basically yellowish water compared to the dark murky tea that I am used to now.

The most important thing about pods is that they taste 1000x better than kratom tea. I used that shit for months and have actually puked from the taste, then I tried pods and realized that the duration was at least 4x longer and the potency was much more than even the strongest kratom I tried. Combine that with a much more palatable flavor from pods and the fact that pods were cheaper it was an obvious choice to make the switch. Then I learned just how bad opiate withdrawal could actually be

I'm fairly sure that the average Mr. Coffee maintains around 170 degrees Fahrenheit, which is just about right for poppy work.

Here is my version of Tea that works well...... Simply put!
Ingredients you will need are:
1.5 Cups of Poppy Seeds (I ordered them from www.nutsonline.com
1.5 Cups is about 1/2 LB.
1 Cups of Water (TAP HOT)
1 2Litre Soda Bottle (plastic)
1 1Qt Jar (I use Mason or the like Food Canning Jar)
1 Nylon Stocking
1 Thick Rubber Band

Steps:
1. Take 1.5 Cups of seeds and funnel them into the Soda Bottle
2. Take 1.0 Cups of water and pour into Soda Bottle with the Seeds.
3. Replace cap on soda bottle and Shake for 5 Minutes then let rest for 10 min. Repeat 6 or more times. The more the merrier!!!

4. When the shaking ritual is complete to your likings, remove the cap on the soda bottle and place nylon panty hose over the end of it and tie the rubberband very very tightly to secure it on.

5. With the nylon secure over the soda bottle now invert and balance it in the 1 Qt jar to drain, go ahead and squeeze several times to help it along. To retrieve more of the water, take the remaining seeds and pour into the nylon and squeeze like hell the purge the rest of the water out. (Dont toss the seeds!!)

6. Mix with some OJ or Pineapple juice and pound it down (the water that is) give it about 20min to come on and about and hour to an hour and a half to peak, the buzz lasted me a good 6 to 10 hours!!

Back in step 5 where I mentioned not to toss the seeds, you can add more water and extract more goodies another time, then toss into your garden and grow some pretty flowers!!!

The only time I did pods (actually have a bunch in the freezer right now) I used about 3 tablespoons and steeped it. Drank it down. Felt nothing for over an hour, then felt very restless, with sort of pulses of euphoria at the 4 hour mark. I couldn't sleep, but I wasn't quite nodding either. It was a strange feeling and I found it altogether unpleasant.

I don't know, maybe my expectations were too high, or I needed to be in a better mindset. I just found the buzz sort of irritating, even though I noticed the euphoric effects.

Also clenched my jaw a lot. Woke up with a sore jaw the next morning.
