The Sabbatical Support & Appreciation Thread is for support and appreciation of the efforts. Play nice please, peeps

Agreed codshit, positive thinking is important for anything in life, especially drug sabbaticals![]()
Had a few wee sabbatical wobbles, in truth. Went out with my bestest friend and her brother for a few pints and that last week which was nice and went out last night and had a few too. Was quite fun though, didn't have many, got home and lay on the decking talking to my parents for a bit then I must have fallen asleep watching telly. I feel really good today actually, so I suppose everything in moderation. Have definitely decided to keep it out the house though. Think I'm doing well as I have no desire to drink today, actually don't have the desire to drink at all unless someone asks me to go out so yeah I think that's cool.
Must admit my first foray back into the world of booze may have initially coloured my view of it as it was absolutely terrible, but I see no reason to swear it off as long as I stay sensible and only drink when I'm out.
Still rather stay sober/stoned than be drunk though.
Why thank you :D
Only getting 4 hours sleep each of the last 4 nights isn't helping much either.
Moderation is definitely the way to go with alcohol, unless you really can't manage it in which case teatotal is better. Hopefully you'll keep it at reasonable levels this time - a couple of pints is really quite different to a 'binge'.
I'm on a not entirely voluntary drug sebatical myself at the moment. No weed and nothing else (except the odd pint here and there) and i'm really missing itOnly getting 4 hours sleep each of the last 4 nights isn't helping much either.
