Basic HEROIN Culture Questions

Yeah, I'd agree. Could even be multiple big timers(high level distributors) got popped. After something like this happens it usually takes a little while for them to get their organization situated and churning shit out. As far as how much time? In my experience it's never been more than a week. Usually less.
I'd do a search to see if there are any news stories about a major bust in your area. That is if you haven't already. Try to conserve your stash as much as possible and I bet shit's straightened out soon. Good luck.

#1, the shit in the US (especially up here in the Northeast) is almost NEVER from that region - 99% of it is from South America (Colombia, specifically), while the Afghan stuff is generally consumed in Europe, from what I've read.

#2, we ONLY just started destroying their fields (in Afghanistan) a week or two ago. So, even if our stuff DID come from that region of the world, there's NO WAY it would affect us this quickly. They DEF have literally TONS of product stockpiled over there, without a doubt.

So, short story long, here's my question:

Has YOUR area been almost 100% dry, too? If so, what do you think the reason is? Probably NOT the whole Afghanistan thing, right?

I don't wanna break any rules - as in, asking people where they're from or whatever - so if it's against the rules to say "I'm from the west coast" or "I live in the NYC area", then please DON'T.

BUT, if it IS ok to give a general region (ie. 'Midwest', 'Northeast', etc.) I'd be interested to hear.

Looking forward to hearing what other peoples' experiences have been lately on the H front. Keeping my fingers crossed that my peeps are just gettin' their shit bagged up as I write this...

the heroin production in afghanistan has skyrocketed since the nato invasion , that pulling up poppies stuff is just for show and very small scale actually the guidelines for the army are to leave the poppy cultivation alone

I agree with this, too. International issues usually don't impact the end user, though there are exceptions.

The H in my area is still flowing and the quality is good.

But the current cocaine war in Mexico has spread up here and mid-level gang members are getting popped left and right.

So far the price and quality of the product I get hasn't been adversely affected.

Let's hope it stays that way. :)
 
Keep it in a plastic container with a bit of rice at room temperature. Those black plastic containers that camera film comes in are good. You mostly want to avoid moisture, which will speed up its degradation into morphine.

If you store it that way it should be good longer than your will power will allow you to keep away from it. ;)
 
Is this common?

I score my H in the city. Its weird though, there are 4 (maybe 5) different stamps of H on the same block. I'm talking right across the street from each other. Is this common?

I always assumed different gangs had the different stamps and can't imagine the logistics of protecting your territory when rivals are SO close to you (and potential customers).

It's common in Philly. Not so common in other areas serving stamps.

The reason that it's common in Philly is due to tradition and that it simply works for them. Corners are "owned" typically by people who live nearby. Since they know each other, and usually live right next to each other, there are no real "turf wars." Also, these stamps are typically cut, bagged, and stamped by small groups of people- typically 3-10 people, but even a 1 man stamp operation isn't unheard of. So, they don't have the man power to fight for corners, violence is bad for business, and there are plenty of customers for everyone. Now, there are certain areas in Philly that are supplied by large stamp operations, where stamps are delivered pre-stamped by a wholesale operation. But ime, that's rare. Also, it's more difficult for those large operations to survive in the long term. More people involved = larger chance of getting caught.

Think of the variety as a good thing, especially for the end user.

Most of the street dealers I know start selling dope around 8:30-9 AM when they can make the most money. I did used to frequent one spot outside a methadone clinic, which started selling H at 5:30 AM. I had another spot which started at around 6 AM. Nothing like hitting the streets before day break or at sun rise to go cop some dope.

Some corners are active 24 hours a day. I know a couple where you can always score, whether its midnight, noon, or 6 in the morning(which is actually a decent time to cop)

Some corners have people with fake dope who take advantage of the market. I bought fake bags last week off a corner which is normally one of the best(the guy had a different stamp than the corners, most likely an addict or hustler looking for a quick buck)
 
^^ oh definitely. I'd have my dope in my veins by 6-6:30 in the morning and theres nothing like watching the sun rise with a head full of dope.
 
They come out depending on the spot. Some spots are 24/7, others open up around 9-10am on average. Typically the "local" spots, frequented by minority addicts that live near or in the open-air markets, are open during the odd hours. Or at least all it takes is a knock on a boarded up house being squatted by addicts and junkies. :|

The spots heavily frequented by out of towners usually open up around 9-10 and close around 11-12 on average. They tend to be posted more during the weekdays, and tend to open up later and stay open longer during Friday and Saturday. Sundays aren't usually that busy. Certain holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving tend to be dead, while other holidays like New Year's and 4th of July tend to be in full force.
 
I've been coppin for about a year. I've only ever used 2 guys. Both of them are users who inflate the price to help cover their costs. The guy I'm using now has been a really honest guy. He even tells me what he's payin and just says, "hey that's how it is, if you want it you gotta pay my tax." It's more than fair. He's cheap. Lately though, every buundle I get has 9 bags. He says it's the runner that works for his guy that is swipin bags. I'm just curious since we never say it in the reports, but how often do any of you guys get bundles that are short a bag? Is it just my guy swiping one off me every time or is it pretty common? I figured this is on topic since it concerns the quantity of the dope. Lemme know.

depends on a few things.

1.personally, i have ALWAYS had trouble with runners, getting shorted, breakdowns in communications. but most of the time no waiting. runners always seem to short me, especially when you get something like 11 bags. 9/10 times ill just end up with the bundle. when you say something about being shorted you always get the "ill get you next time"

2.the actual dealers i have seen have almost never shorted anything, but you have to wait a long time.

i actually have a little theory about runners; they take 1 bag out of every one or two bundles, and after they sell a bit they have enough for an extra bundle that goes straight into their pockets.

Big ten 4 on that buddy. Especially after a night in town on a late summers morning, sitting on my sofa gawking out the wondow into the sky. Its stuff like that, i will always remember from durg use, the ordinary things that take on an extraordinary edge. Once i came home from a mates, baked as fuck, with a full moon shining on teh snow and it was glowing all blue and it was so amazing 8o =D
