Caffeine

All B vitamins are water soluble, i.e. you will piss you any extra. No worries about getting too much in your system.

A can of redbull has only 80mg of caffeine. In comparison, a large cup of strong coffee has 300-400mg. So a cup of coffee is equal to about 5 cans of redbull. Basically you are paying for a tiny bit of caffeine and a whole lot of placebo. Quit wasting your money. If you want caffeine, drink coffee.

Lol, "a large cup coffee having 400mg of caffeine." That would have half of the already overweight, stressed, and unhealthy people at Dunkin' Donuts, literally keeling over from heart attack after heart attack.

Also caffeine isnt good for you, coffee is really the thing they argue may be good for you, but I doubt its good enough to keep you around much longer.

400mg of caffiene is a lot, and would have you feeling worse than a comedown of 100mg of ritalin. the physical shit you get from "overdosing" or taking too much caffiene is reealllly unformfortable. Racing heart beat, nausea, anxiety, certainly a very bad expierience, it also lasts awhile.
Goodluck with your redbull addiction, it probably is pretty bad you drink a large can a day. Not as bad as some other substances...but...the Taurine, and Guarana(which is caffiene in it's natural form? I may be wrong) But I would imagine that daily use would some effect on the heart.

Peace

And this is why I support OTC amphetamine.

How does caffeine abuse validate the idea that OTC amphetamine would somehow be safer?? If that same lady had access to OTC amphetamine rather than redbull, she'd have been dead a hell of a lot sooner lol. She would have used speed in the same manner which is much more difficult on your heart than caffeine could ever hope to be.

Unless you just referring to the fact that with amphetamine, at least you'd suffer a heart attack following the feeling of god-like euphoria, rather than a shitty case of epic jitters.

Amphetamine has less physical effects than caffeine. Just because amphetamine is schedule II and caffeine is OTC does not mean caffeine is safer.

taurine is much more like an amino acid than it is a stimulant:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taurine

It is MARKETING that gives red bull it's extra kick and STUPIDITY that keeps people all over the world (but mostly americans) consuming copious amounts of syrupy tonic water.

yeah do speed instead of drinking redbull 8)

because speed doesn't make you look like a dead person, or even better a skeleton right?

fucking ignoramus!

seriously god its healthier just to drink beer and say fuck it all to productivity. Im sure il get bitched out but at least my heart and stomach will be happy. fuckin had coffee this morning and now feel miserable. way worse than a 6- beer hangover

Haha, I saw the redbull car, that gives you free rebulls. I got there attention and got a free redbull...oh and horribly rejected from the bangin bitch drivin...totally off topiic, i know..but so awesome.

I used to love Red bull but I wont touch it with a 10 foot pole these days. One night over the course of about 8 hours of drinking hard alcohol I drank about 4 or 5 cans of redbull at the same..... It basically gave me chest pains and Tachycardia...... ever since I stopped drinking redbull with my booze I have NEVER gotten any chest pains or irregular heartbeat..... :\

I stay right-away from Redbull and its cheap bootlegs.

As a smack addict, you tend to shy away from anything that doesn't make you drowsy.

I haven't even drunk proper (non-decaf) coffee in almost 5 years.

When I was scripted oxy, and didn't give a shit (as my next hit was ON) - I would drink upwards of 20+ strong coffee's a day. Fuck, it goes well with cigarettes, uh?!

But on maintenaince/dope - yeah, I avoid it like the plague.

My worst nightmare is ingesting speed by accident.

Energy drinks are the most successful gimmick to penetrate the market so flawlessly in a long time. Let's see:

-They almost ALWAYS cost $2 for one serving up to $4 for 16 ounces of Red Bull. Great way to make synthetic value ... "hmm, this is expensive, and it gives energy, so it must work!!"
-You are essentially paying for flavored carbonated water with added caffeine.
-The caffeine itself--you're paying (quite literally) HUNDREDS times more for a single serving of caffeine (say, 160mg in the $4 Red Bull) than it costs the companies to buy them. You can buy 100 grams of caffeine at BulkNutrition for SEVEN US DOLLARS. To be exact, that is SIX HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE TIMES more per serving of caffeine in that Red Bull per unit than if you simply buy your caffeine in bulk. And believe me, the caffeine is the only ingredient in that can that is giving you so called 'energy.'

And I won't even get into the fact that caffeine is simply stress on your adrenal glands.

In conclusion, Red Bull creates falsified value in the minds of millions of stupid denizens of our disappointing and exploitable population. Lemmings, rejoice! :\
