There's alot of cool shit I want.

Thats one serious wine glass COTB. I would be on the freaking floor.
Sushi USBs...just when I think we can't come up with anything else... I can't say that is something I can't live without.

I'm buying three of these. One for Busty, myself and Maddog. Yet another excuse for visits. :p

Did you actually order them? I'm thinking that'd be an excellent present for my girl... she's a big fan of Vodka with a splash of Solo in an enormous wine glass.

I would really like to find an original copy of The Curse of Lono by Hunter S. Thompson. The copy I've been looking for high and low is signed by Hunter S. Thompson so you can imagine how much trouble I am having locating this rare peice...

If anybody knows where I can find this or even might have a copy please please please PM me as it is the one thing on the planet I would love to have. There are only 1000 copies though so I don't think I have a very high chance of getting one, but you never know your luck I guess.

at the moment i want a few things...

1 - 120Gb ipod... im slowly going insane listening to other people talk on the trian
2 - Guitar Hero Rock Band... or whatever it is called, im going to save a few pennies and then just hope with the amount of games i have got and dont play, i can take them in and get some kinda discount
3 - creatures of life 6'7" Slim Fit Travel Cover... my new board doesnt have a bag... and needs one...

i think that is all for now..

I would like all of my text books on tape so that I can listen to them while I am asleep so that I ace my exams and am a pro in the field that I work in... Like that's ever going to happen though :(

^Have you looked at Audible.com before? They have a huge range of audio-books. It wouldn't hurt to do a search on the titles you might need. Also there are plenty of podcasts available via ITunes, etc. on numerous topics that could help you out?

I want my ipod back! I just look like a fool catching the train with my discman on my lap.. And a computer for when i move! Talk about being out of touch with technology..

When the iPod touches came out I really really wanted one so badly to play with when I was on the train or bored or something and I finally got myself an 8GB one as a birthday present, I'm so happy, my brother finally got me something... Even if it was like 4 weeks late it's the thought that counts and he thought BIG lol.

Not sure what edition you're looking for but I think there are a few copies of the 2005 edition, signed by both Hunter S and the illustrator available at alibris.com.

Can't hurt to have a look.

Actually google it. There are heaps. This one is in Tassie.

Thanks for that but I've found heaps of copies of those ones, I'm looking for the original copies that were hand signed by both of them and their was only 1000 printed up... I think that was over 10 years ago now though so they would be asking for a pretty high price I'm thinking...

The book was originally printed in 1983 which is the one I assume you want. Haven't found any information to suggest there was only 1000 signed copies of it.

The 1000 signed copies is the 2005 version.

edit: This one http://www.alibris.com/booksearch.d...the+curse+of+lono&qwork=1438461&qsort=&page=4 is a first edition. Not actually signed by Hunter S, but it is inscribed by the illustrator.

And this one is the 2005 version #304.

Anyway, I'll leave you to it. I just find it interesting that people would pay over a thousand dollars for a book when it wasn't even their best work. ;)

Yeah I just want to frame it with a poster of him.

Then I want to get some artwork done by Ralph Steadman and find out when he's doing a signing next and get him to sign the book and the artwork and frame both of those lol.

Speaking of GHDs...one of our magazines will have a mini size GHD as the free gift next month (2 weeks from now). It won't be branded as a GHD, but I can GUARANTEE they are. Buy one. BUY TWO! Mini GHD for $9.95
