one of my favorite genres :)

pretty disappointed about the lack of punk rock bands at Warped Tour this summer.. :(

Bad Religion
Big D and the Kids Table

Broadway Calls (Im from Seattle woo hometown)
Flogging Molly
Less Than Jake
NOFX
Streetlight Manifesto
TaT
The Flatliners
 
I think NoFX and Anti Flag have played like every warped tour in the past trillion years.
There ALWAYS at it.
 
It always makes me laugh when people apply a genre of music that has it's roots in rebellion of the state and the mainstream to a band that is playing at a commercialized event that exists for the purpose of making money.

I just played a Warped Tour in Cleveland, and it was great to finally see bands like Anti-Flag, Less Than Jake, Bad Religion, and NOFX finally on stage. I have seen many many bands before in my life and NOFX is probably the funniest group of dudes I have ever seen.

as far as newer editions, most of the bands sucked horribly (just look at my crabcore thread) but The Gallows and Big D and the Kids Table were good.
 
How is the Warped Tour now? Besides the bands you mentioned is there a good amount of punk or does it seem like most of the bands now are crap like that crabcore shit?

I think last time I went to Warped Tour was like 2003.

Psychlone Jack you and I are one in the same. Grand Ams, Leftover Crack....whats next? drug addiction?

I think with as many bands playing at warped tour these years.

It would be hard to find a band you didnt like every moment while there.

I saw Leftover Crack play a few weeks ago. They put on a great show, but unfortunately I had to sit through the Casualties beforehand. Jorge Herrera must have said the word "punk" or some variation of it at least fifteen times during their performance. Yeah, we didn't know we were at a punk show, thanks for reminding us. That and all the fourteen year-old girls leaving right after they were finished playing was enough to make me detest the Casualties even more than I already did.
