You're essentially saying a cop can search you at any time for any reason. Sadly in the UK that may actually be true with the new anti-terror laws, you're lucky to have the Constitution in America.

Woah hold on a second. There is no leader in communism its the people, so your saying you did this to that man? Communism in its true form has never existed. I like to consider myself a communist because a world with no money where everyone is treated equally and lives to support their fellow man sounds nice to me! I realize human greed pervents this but still i take offense sir!

I hope he gets something from this, they didnt even find drugs doesnt that raise questions about the legitamacy of dogs. Im sure the people on this board are already questionitive of most police behaviors but hopefully something like this will raise public concern over it. Best wishes to that man, hopefully his stuggle shall not be in vain.

Not here to argue just felt like i need to state my beliefs, if i had a nickle ya know. If i truly wanted to argue i would start a thread in politics, so i wont.

Still hoping this dude gets something from the injustice hes gone through, i feel we can all agree on that.
 
This story makes me think of something I read recently which I think might resonate with some of my felliow Bluelighters:

I would have to do a year of solid research likely to plug all the holes in this thinking. Seemst to me they want to replace all ideologies with one.....THEIRS.

Lets say two children who have had no outside influence from any kind religion or belief system whatsoever find one particular flower that they both are so taken with. it's the only one in the whole garden like it. They both decide they want it and will have it. What will happen and who will win. Their are no outside influences at all. They will fight over the flower and the strongest one will have it. Yet their was no money involved and no beliefs or dogma imposed upon them.

We are the constitution. We are not dead ... merely subdivided to such an extent as to be rendered powerless. We should all unite for one cause...say ...end the Federal reserve, and start over from there.

One things for sure .... change is coming pretty quickly.
 
It's shit like this that just makes me hate cops even more.

They go completely overboard with their "powers". A couple of weeks ago, when I was feeling suicidal, six cops turned up to take me to hospital. I'm by no means a large or strong person, and definitely didn't need a whole gang of pigs to handcuff me, ankle-tie me, and throw me into the back of a patrol car. The whole time they kept telling me "stop resisting, or you'll be hurt." Bastards. I guess I'm lucky that all I got was bruising after being thrown to the ground and cuffed tightly... they could have easily sprayed me or called for a tazer.

Excellent post. This country has become a partisan nightmare with everybody blaming their neighbors as the super rich/ and fed-types make out like bandits.
 
I only hope the tea partiers can at least get most of the lifers ousted from congress.

As long as they hold the same pricipals to both d's and r's, and make sure they follow through.

The media thinks it is anti Obama. He just happens to be the poor sap who is in office right now. So in a way it is. I sure don't like his policies. It is more than that though.

I believe that 9-12 was the biggest march yet on DC. it was grossly mis reported and under reported. I have compared all the areal photos and I believe that 1.5 million seems to be pretty accurate. Abc reported 60 to 70 thousand...when they bothered to report at all. I don't have cable so can't speak for that. A lot of people are very pissed at both parties right now and ironicaly the news is trying to put a partisan face on the movement. It just does not fit.
The name tea party sais it all. They are after CONGRESS as a whole. It did me good to see the old revolutionary banners flying. They have a clear message and meaning that the media doesn't seem to get, or do not want to. The next march is august 28th I think. I will be there for sure with a "Don't Tread on Me" banner. I hope the media continues to mis report and ignore, because it will cause our numbers to grow. Go Green recycle congress.

I got stopped shook down and searched for "giving a double take" to a cop driving by a a couple weeks ago.

nothing else, he "thought I looked nervous"

WTF how is that probable cause.
