Meeting girls at raves

For some reason.. it's harder to meet girls at raves than at bars! I don't know why this is.. instead of giving you a harsh rejection they tend to just ignore you like you don't exist. Or they'll be nice but you can tell that they don't care about you....

Maybe it's cuz E is not an aphrodisiac and people are more interested in rolling or being around people that they know rather than hooking up?
 
Yeh i think youve sorta answered your own question. I know that when my friends are are rolling they prefer to stick to their own group. That isnt saying that they wont talk to anyone else...but probably wont want to "get" with anyone else.
Also, alcohol tends to make girls pretty horny! haha...and completely changes percieved barriers. For example...normally a girl might be too scared to get with you...however when drinking she may have confidence to talk to you..
Just a thought...
 
maybe because alot of shiesty people frequent EDM events. I was thinking about it, and I would hate being agirl at a rave just because so many sweaty dudes will either want to dance or invade your space. or worse yet grope you

I dunno but at alot of the raves I go to there are alot of gross mothafuckaz around.
And there are the occasional cool people -- but I would never want to pick up a girl at the club just sounds like a recipe for disaster.

just my 2 cents.. be safe and have fun man -- and I usually go to chill with my friends / vibe to the tunes anyway. not really meet new ones

i agreed plus im a grl, sometimes its very scary if the guys came up to me cuz i was paranoid easier cuz of the pills.

u know some talk lots while i only wanna enjoy music, they can b really annoying unless i got good stuff and feel i wanna chat as well.
 
Raves aren't a very sexual environment. There's a lot of touching and hugging going on, but it's usually platonic, and people who go there with the intention of trying to hook up with girls on E are usually looked down on.
 
girls go out to raves to have a good time and party....not to get hit on.....mabey people will disagree but oh well.......
 
Are most raves indoors or outdoors? I don't think girls would be dirtier, maybe less classy because its a different environment than going out to a nice bar. I know some girls that are pretty and classy that go to raves or have gone.
 
i can say im pretty and educated and go to raves to shuffle and have a good time with my bf and mates. Im not dirty as well.
 
I wish people were less adamant about feeling like they have to meet new members of the opposite sex every time they went out. A lot of times they put too much pressure on themselves. Just fucking chill and let the waves of life guide you. If you stumble across some lady and hit it off great, but if not don't worry. We can't all have everything all the time!
 
im a girl and few weeks ago i went to a party and i was pretty high on e... suddenly a guy asks me for a cigarette i give it to him nicely and polite... he thanks me and he sits right next to me and start talking like crazy, i started to ask my self "why is he doing this?" and then i just started laughing and enjoyed the talk... it was good though he didn't started saying all that crazy allucinating stuff you sometimes say when you are on E. It was an interesting chat
 
I am not a raver. I actually don't think i have ever been to a rave. But i have tried E a few times, and i feel pretty confident that hooking up with strangers--either while you and/or them are on it--could easily lead to regret and very uncomfortable/confusing emotions and situations. Alcohol certainly can, as well, but in a more haphazard and fun way.

See I do this all the time, but I really have no intent of trying to get with the girl, just I want to have a conversation. I guess I can see how that would be creepy but that is the last thing I am trying to do.

The first time I went to a rave I hooked up with a really cool girl and we made out for a while then she left, after that I pretty much brought girls when I went so it wasn't an issue.

Haha spot on, when I am on MDMA at raves, talking to people and getting to know them gives me EXTREME euphoria. (even if i sometimes cant remember their names toward the end of the night). i tend to not pay attention to whether they are girls or guys, I just want to flap my jaw off... completely platonic. I could see how people could think of me as a little bit creepy depending on what their view is on random people comeing upto them, spilling their life out and then asking them the deepest questions they can think of.(though i always have good intentions) if they are not familiar with the way the MD makes you feel.
 
I've been to high class raves, and I've been to low class raves. Meeting girls is not a problem at any of them.
 
towards dawn on my first rave i ended up cuddled up under a couple of girls.... It was like a 15 hour party and everyone was crashing....

ive become friends with a lot of girls that i have met at raves. but never really gone past that....

Some of the relationships have been kind of interesting though.... memories of someone running up to me with a vibrating glove on their hand, grabbing my crotch and saying "kiss me".... I just kissed her on the lips and she was like "no, open your mouth" or something along those lines and we made out for a little bit.... That wasn't the first time we had met, there were random other incidents as well.... one involving a highlighter but i wont go into that....
 
i dont know if its just me or what but i didn't like the vibe i got from the "rave" i went to. It was kind of a trashy place but whatever. It was a bunch of e tards feeling up on eachother and shit.

The raves I go to is all about the PLUR, but most older ravers will say the PLUR is long gone :(

I agree with this, but i never go out with the intention of pulling full stop - if it happens, it happens.
