I am most likely probably gonna get kicked out of my pain clinic because I failed for having cannabis in my system on a drug screen. SO it is OK for me to have fucking opioids and benzo's in my system (which is what i've been prescribed for the past 2 years!) and now I got a appt. tomorrow and I know he's going to kick me out for failing that drug test for JUST MARIJUANA!!!! WTF?! omg i am so pissed at the ignorance of this society i could seriously just . . YELL AHHH OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS GOD-FORSAKEN WORLD!

But seriously can he even just take me off all medications and kick me out with nothing??? wouldn't that be cruel and unusual punishment? I mean if I actually took my meds as prescribed i would be so addicted to opiates and benzo's that I would probably die from the withdrawals (esp. from the benzos). So basically would just push me into going to a suboxone doctor or m-done clinic. This world is so fucked up and makes me so pissed!
Oh and by the way I am totally clean right now and don't have anything AT ALL in my system..

What are your guy's thoughts? What do you think I should say tomorrow? The guy that gave me the drug test last time i was there still gave me my scripts to last me till my appointment tomorrow and I asked him if I was going to be kicked out now and he said it would be up to the doctor and that if I was clean next time that I would probably be OK and he didn't say anything like 'start weaning yourself off these' or anything of that nature so like wtf, can he kick me out for just failing one damn urine test for ONLY MARIJUANA!!!!!?!?!?!?

Damn that is really a shame and fucking bullshit. Isn't it great how big of a hypocrisy we live in.

If it was me I would just tell the doctor that you use weed for your pain or maybe you use it as a sleep aid. I don't know which state you live in or if this even will work but what the hell. I mean if your going to get kicked out you might as well go down swinging.
 
OH yeah man if I get kicked out and its final and theres no going back i am going to give that doctor an education lecture on how fucking ignorant it is to sit there and prescribe opioids and benzos to me (which are the most addictive substances in this FUCKING WORLD!) but god forbid i have a tiny bit of ganja in my system ill be kicked out?! like wtf?! i mean i dunno yet until tomorrow morning but I can read people pretty well and i can just feel that this doctor is going to just use this as an excuse to kick me out ya know? like wtf!!!?! omg i am getting so pissed about the hypocrisy we are living in that it makes me so mad that I just punched a whole in my door, again...
 
Yeah I have no idea, but I definitely feel for you and am sick and fucking tired of so called compassionate docs going off and cutting off their patients. No matter what they have done...they are still fucking patients...meaning they need help and not to be fucked over.
 
Yeah dude it was JUST MARIJUANA, i mean he knows I don't abuse my meds... I mean I don't know what else to say, but my doctor is a fucking asshole and I can read people within 5seconds of talking to them and i've seen this guy for 2years and know he will just use this as an 'excuse' to kick me out, b/c he's just like that... But seriously wtf its not like I had heroin or another opiate in my system, in fact when i took the test all i had in my system was marijuana and tramadol so he knows im no fucking junkie!!! GOD FUCKING SON OF A BITCH I ccan't talk about this or ill end up punching my doc in the face tomorrow after he comes in and starts acting like a fucking ignorant prick.
 
Yes, they can drop you if you fail a drug test. Hell, a doctor can drop you as a patient for ANY reason they want.
 
Might only be marijuana but you agreed to certain conditions when entering pain program. By failing drug test you failed to adhere to the conditions. Doctor has every right to kick you off.

Do feel for you though. Would of been another thing if positive for heroin, coke, or amphetamines.

Try to reason with him if first time offense. My Suboxone doctor was real hard ass. Ended up testing positive for heroin once. Used out of curiosity. Explained to him. Let me continue program but followed up with another drug test.

Should be fine.
 
why would you put cannabis in your system when you knew that it could cause you to get dropped? i don't see how you go can about blaming anyone but yourself for this.

Should i just be like "ok so where do I go now? Because i've know that I am going to go thre withdrawals now and am going to need help for I don't want to have a seizure from benzo w/ds and the opiate w/ds are going to be just as bad so now what?" oh my god if he drops me im going to blow up in that office, i mean im liable to scream and cause a ruckuss in there tomorrow when he drops me. ^ Going in there and causing a scene would do nothing but make you look like a drug addict and probably get police involved.

I hate to say it, but you should have known that failing a drug test (even for marijuana) wouldn't gain brownie points with a doctor. I'd personally go in there, admit I had screwed up and tell them it wont happen again. If he drops you he drops you. Not everything in life is enjoyable.

I know opiate/benzo w/d's aint fun, but you're not going to die from it (well, you might have bad benzo wd's judging from your past posts).

So true. You knew this would be the outcomne, so saying its the government's fault or anyone else's fault is ridiculous. That being said, I can see how you feel also. It would suck. And I defnitely can understand how drugs have a way of twisting your arm into using. But you should not allow yourself to be put in those situations in future.
Anyway, look, you obviously feel you've been hard done by, so explain to your doctor why you feel that is the case. And I would suggest NOT saying anything about these stupid laws, because it will just fall on deaf ears.
There's nothing more we can really suggest as what's done is done' Honesty is the best policy.

I;ve just read this now, and it really pisses me off.
Take some responsibility for yourself instead of blaming the doctor. He only scripted you the medications because, from information in your past posts, you have told him exactly what he needs to hear IIRC. So dont turn this around like youre a victim, a poor innocent guy who got caught up in the doc's nasty web of addictive medications thru no fault of your own.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't it seems.

Take his advice. And until then calm down and chill out, for your sake. If you act like this, you will probably be booted with no taper. Do it right, you may be able to stay. Or if you do get booted but you did it right, you'll likely get booted with a taper.

Why, really? I mean, if he has too much of his RXed meds in his system he can be kicked out, so why is ok to have MJ in him?

Also, whether or not you or I or anyone else agrees, apparently he cannot legally have MJ and therefore, it IS just as bad as having those other drugs in his system.

Illegal drugs are illegal, no matter if they "should" be or not. There has to be a line drawn, and the only logical line is that there be no drugs in his system at amounts higher than RXed. That means benzos and certain opiates at certain levels and other drugs at zero.
 
Dude get a whizzinator and avoid these situations. Or better yet, quit smoking ganja until you're no longer dependent on the pain clinic. Best of luck in this situation, I feel for you. <3
 
I get so tired of people blaming the doctors and the pharmaceutical companies for their addictions and ODs. While doctors and pharm companies can be guilty of a host of shortcomings, creating your addiction or forcing you to take an illegal substance is not one of them.

The way I understand it, this doctor has prescribed pain control that you have both requested and needed for two years, and you repay him by taking an illegal substance that puts his medical practice at risk if he keeps you as a patient and then you have the nerve to blame him for your predicament and call him obscenities?

You can get kicked out of bupe program for failing a piss test?!

I've given dirty after dirty - and all they've done is offer me more help/higher scripts..

The only thing I know someon getting kicked out for, was this idiot who tried to doctor his scripts!
 
Yeah I am just saying its insane that we can take opiates and benzo's but not cannabis. This is so stupid because I don't consider cannabis a drug. That doesn't mean that I think that this is the doctors fault, i never said that. OH and btw I am NOT addicted to either opiates or Benzo's (i have been off both for over a week) so im not just crying about getting kicked out and having to go threw w/d's. But seriously as far as he's concerned, I am dependent on opioids, so thats all I am saying. But yeah if I do get kicked out you best believe i am at least going to say "well can I at least tell you my side of the story?" and then go on about how its so ridiculous that I can get kicked out for marijuana but its totally OK to take benzo's and opiates for pain/sleep, when cannabis works better then both and isn't addictive and I WILL continue to smoke. I will also make sure to touch on the issue of 'yes i know it is illegal but I am not talking about the legal issues, I am talking about it from a strict scientific view. If it falls on deaf ears, so be it, at least he will have heard it from someone with balls. So yeah.

But who knows I'll most likely just go in there and be silent, get kicked out, and then just ask him what should I do for the withdrawals I am going to face now? (even tho I am not facing any sort of withdrawals what so ever). But he thinks I am dependent, so maybe it will at least make him feel like a prick and I also lol just wanna hear what he has to say to that question. After all he was the one prescribing me them so wtf should i do now doc? lol. Well i am about to find out in about 2hours so ill let you guys know what happened and what he says to me when i get back home. lol to tell you the truth I am looking forward to this pricks attitude and can just imagine the nonsense he's gonna say, honestly I can see this guy coming in the room and just saying something like "Why are you hear?" or something along those lines as if I shouldn't be there when the assistant dr. guy told me to come back and even gave me my scripts right after i failed the test and he even said that I should be OK as long as I come back clean and that they were more interested in seeing if I was abusing my meds or taking other opiates other then what I am prescribed.
